This box is amazing. I made about 15 of these for Christmas last year for my friends. You can use any size paper and they still turn out perfectly. I made one for my best friend out of poster paper. Super fun, easy to follow video and makes an awe inspiring box. Just watching it again to brush up on the folds. Thanks again.
Patience is the key. After many tries of putting together the box at the end, I came across two things. The beautiful box in front of me and the good feeling that I accomplished this after time. :)
The last part was really hard! I had to try it about 5 times before i got the pieces to fit together properly. Now for the lid! Thank your for this awesome tutorial, love it ;)
Thanks for the tutorial. I managed to make this box but mine doesnt look quite so neat. Maybe i lack patience :) There was no way i could make this just by looking at diagrams. Thank goodness for youtube & members like you.
It really is a pretty box. I managed to make it but I used paper with two different thicknesses and it was difficult to join them in the end. It was great fun though :)
i made it and came out great :) i made it smaller though 10 cm instead of 15 i made it with regular printer paper on the lid i made the paper have tiny pictures of us together and for the base a picture of i love you in different fonts on 1 side. thanks for this
Not so easy but really NICE box ^^. I just finish It, but with a trial paper xD.. Now i need to make it with a very nice one to my gf xD thanks for uploading this video =)
This is easy i love origami its my new hobby making something out of paper is like magic I wonder how origami was invented? Do you have a video for the top?
Schattige doosjes X3 Waar koop je je papier? =D Ik wil ze proberen te maken. ^^ Ik heb de leafcard gemaakt met m'n kaftpapier XD Maar voor doosje is het denk ik te slap... I love your videos! =D
Wow, puting them together is hard. I'll have to practice that one... Whenever I try to push them into each other at the end the paper feels weak and bend instead of going in. I first tryed with washi paper, and then with an origami paper more solid, but it won't go... If you have any tips to share that would be awesome :) but anyway thank you a lot for that video, I've been looking for those instructions and it's all very clear.
nice job! Moved slowly. No blasted distracting music! It is soothing to fold by the music you chose. Half the people that make these videos don't speak clearly or speak too fast or do not explain folds well so it was nice not to have to figure out what you just said!!
I was making it while watching the video, posed 1000times and then when I finished it it said make other 6 of these. 😨😵😱😒 I give up 😳😵 but it's very beautiful, really liked it
What is the proportion of the final diameter of the box was to the size of each sheet of paper? I really want to make one because I'm making an origami-themed birthday present for my bestie but I'm not sure how big to cut my paper. Please respond and thanks for the reply and the awesome video ;)
Do you think I could make these with cardboard or something thicker than your type of paper in bigger sizes? I was thinking about making these about 30 cm big, to put cakes in...
omg... I'm dizzy just watching this video... when i grow up I'll can do the same .. lol who invented this or is a brilliant mind or is crazy lol gz and ty to share! :)
@MrBhotee, you can use any coloured paper that you feel comfortable with. You can even use newspaper to practice with first. Personally, I use scrapbook paper. You can get some very nice designs with it :) You can even go to the dollar store and stock up on some very nice paper for these types of projects. Hope that helps :D
It's not until I made one of these that I really appreciated the work put into making this instruction video.... Thanks...so much better than a diagram, however imitating the dexterous finish is another thing :¬ p @789Dreamymimi789 yeah paperclip tip good but precise measuring and creasing also pays off. I made it with 3x2 of different colours and that also helps : ¬)
i cant do it barbabellaatje!! can u explain how to do the assembling part im really confused ! i could make them but can not assemble as when u assemble it there is a star shape but my turns into a big mess and will not tighten but it is loose !
