- This is food dehydrator which can take out the water and humidity from most of the food and turn them into dry fruits ,It is power by w1209 which controls the temperature at 155 inherit which is ideal for food dehydrator based for fruit and other vegetables, making this food dehydrator is easy and simple task anyone can make , I use Styrofoam box and aluminium foil to make the good heat insulation which can be energy efficient food dehydrator

Yes that might work if it can reach to desired temperature, need at least 100 watt heater so it can maintain temperature
Great video , which side air flow goes ? from out side to in or inside air to out side ? Also with the bulb switch off on 46 Celcious did you switch off the fan too ??
The fan is throwing air inside and it is coming from the top of box ,fan is always working only heater on and off

When I connect Bulb wires with W1209 then the thermostat reaches the required temperature then the electric shock starts and So the bulb wires burn and affect all house electricity. How to fix it?
If you done the wire correctly there shouldn't be any problem

Hey bro. I really Love this project. Concerning the CPU Fan, is it acting as a blower Or heat extractor?
It is throwing air Inside over the heater warming the box and going out from the top

I connected the thermostat to a new 12 v dc adaptor but it is not working 😢
Have you connect the 12v fan to check if supply is working, if supply work with fan then circuit is faulty

That styrofoam doesn't melt at these temperature also Aluminum foil is keep temperature at normal level for styrofoam and also the heat is running off not staying at one place

Styrofoam def a great insulator but very bad if it catches on fire we call it polystyrene

You can use small 220v ventilation fan
If you have two unused cell phone chargers. Connect them in series, the voltage will add up. I did this with two 5V chargers
Tip: Use a 25W reptile heat lamp instead of a light bulb.
