I really appreciate your enthusiasm about these figures and taking the time to produce this video. I’m gonna be a dong now and criticize. I’m gonna guess that you were born sometime between 1980-1983, based on your list since you had so many “favorites” from the 1990’s and ZERO figures from 1983-1984 which was THE ABSOLUTE BEST ERA of GI JOE. If I had a video about the best GIJoe figures, this would have been my era. But guess what, I didn’t make a video and you did. So I guess I can just shut the hell up! 😉 But for real, I appreciate your opinion and your love of Gi Joe. I just remembered, that I had the rare and hugely sought after version of Flash. The one with Silver pads that came with the Jet pack play set. I was such a spoiled kid. I had every single figure and vehicle from 1982 and 83. I saved up all my paper route money, report card reward money(I got a dollar for every A on my report card), allowance money, and part of my daily lunch money. Also my Halloween candy, which I sold at school for money. These allowed me to buy every figure and vehicle that I did not receive as a gift on Christmas or my birthday. Including all the accessory packs. It was impossible to collect all the figures and vehicles from 84 onwards. Too many figures and vehicles. But I still had lots of them.

Firefly (always though him a better match for Snake Eyes than Storm Shadow) 4. Gung Ho (will eff you up) 5. the Dreadnoks (the main guys, Zartan, Buzzer, Ripper and Torch plus Thrasher just cuz- I count them as one guy but you named Head Man so yeah) 6. Beach Head (would own anyone) 7. BAT (looked cooler than god) 8. Lt. Falcon 9. (IDGAF) Sgt Slaughter and the Renegades (all one guy, don't care) 10. Lift Ticket (because of the Tomahawk)

I loved the Tomahawk. One of my favorite vehicles. I used my dads reaming tools to drill bullet holes in strategic places on mine. It looked more authentic. Because Lift Ticket is a true hero, he will always take direct fire to rescue his fellow soldiers and civilians. So I made his machine look the part. And I used a scalpel to scar up his face, and put fresh combat wounds on his body armor too.

We went to Kmart once in 1988 and I had the option to get Tunnel Rat or a pumpkin carving set. I was only 7 and I was SO torn... I CHOSE THE DAMN CARVING SET!! NOOOOO!! I still regret that, BUT I did end up getting the Tunnel Rat with the maroon shirt years later (can't remember what series that is)
Zartan Original Storm Shadow Original Firefly Original Snake Eyes Original Major Bludd Snow Serpent Cobra Officer Quick Kick Original Destro Dr. Mind Bender That's my list. So many figures. So much fun. I played with those the most. But in my world, Zartan beat everybody. Zartan was over 2000 years old. And had mastered every form of combat ever invented. Including 5 of his own. He was stronger than Sargent Slaughter, Roadblock and Road Pig combined. You actually see it in the cartoon when ascending the mountain to get the third piece of the weather dominator when he is holding the weight of all three Dreadnought's himself, and all of their gear, with one arm, while holding onto the mountain with the other side, and talking while doing it. If that doesn't dawn on you that he is holding the weight of over 600 pounds of men and gear, with one arm........ Than you not thinking clearly. This was apparent to me as an 11 year old kid. Zartan is a beast. He should be able to fold up 6 of the strongest characters in Gi-Joe and twust them into pretzels without breaking a sweat. And in my play time, he did exactly that, on the regular. Zartan took on two and three He-Man characters by himself, and those characters are each twice his size and weight. Zartan is the original Gi-Joe super being. I invented an entire history of Zartan and all his powers. People, he warps through walls. But Destro is gonna man handle him. Hell no! He is playing with the Joe's and Cobra, all the time. He could kill all of them if they all attacked him at once. But where would the fun be in that? He plays them agaisnt each other all the time. Because that's fun!

My Stormshadow V2 is sunfaded yellowish, with a broken off foot, and a transplanted forearm from Tigerforce Lifeline lol. I have him set up in my Desert fox while Skidmark is awaiting a suitable pelvis donor. The Desert fox is missing two wheels. My collection is beat to shit lol but I love it

Im going to admit the second storm shadow was in my mt Rushmore of Joes . I don’t know a lot of the 90’s figures I was a young teenager. Friends and girls kinda stopped me staying into G.I. Joe . I still loved the stuff I had but wasn’t watching or buying figures. I never read the comic book didn’t even know there was one. And I never knew they made that cobra commander seeing this video was the first time I ever heard and saw him. I like the big look . He’s tougher now. I’d have Sargent vs big boa . I loved my guys brawling too.

I couldn't disagree more with this list, with the exception of Breaker, Hawk, and Falcon, all of them would be on my worst list, you must've been a 90's kid. I like the Storm Shadow figure, but hate the added camo. I'm in my early 50s, and I wish I still had all my Joe's from my childhood, but I'm glad I didn't buy anything from the 90's. The original Joe team had its flaws, only 2 different head molds, the thumbs would break off, etc...but they didn't look like something from a bad sci-fi show. I liked Gung Ho, but his color scheme was bad, and the neon that got added to most figures was awful, what was it with neon in the 90's? My top ten (from a bad memory) 1) Flash (he was my first and favorite, loved the contrast of orange on army green) 2) Cobra Viper (looked great, and other than Cobra infantry and officers, the only good Cobra troops) 3) Snake Eyes ( the 2nd figure was better, but I loved the original, even took one apart, used the head for a Cobra infantry body, painted the head navy blue, looked great) 4) Storm Shadow (I loved Ninjas too, and he was a great one, belongs next to Snake Eyes on any list) 5) Cobra Commander (hooded, didn't like the powder blue helmet figure, because of the color, still don't understand that) 6) Baroness (first female figure to actually look female and her outfit is awesome) 7) B.A.T. (Loved the look and extra hands) 8) Flint (didn't like the character, but the figure looked cool) 9) Mutt (Liked the face mask and Junkyard) 10) Airborne (Liked his gear) Honorable mentions... Tripwire, Wetsuit, Spirit, original Major Bludd, Zartan and the Dreadnocks, Destro, all the originals, Outback. Comic book honorable mention.. The Oktober Guard, wish they did more.
I agree they are so much more than toys, and whats so great about Joe's is that most times everyone has different fav's. If you take out Snake and Storm
My list, other than Falcon and Breaker being on it, would not match yours. But that's what I like about it. I also like that you have simple, realistic choices (Hawk, Breaker) and also wild choices like Croc Master and that Major Blood. Enjoyable video.

Although Storm Shadow is my favorite gi joe character, but Firefly is my favorite action figure which is missing in your list. But since this is your personal choice, it's really a great one.
Firefly is so great. AND has one of the hardest accessories to find. I try and do a Top5/10 a year for series I love. I really want to do a Joe one again, this one is from last year.

His name was just "Cobra HISS Sriver" The Stinger is the black and red Cobra jeep. HISS driver is an epic figure for sure
