Some irony here with this video on stock photography is now your most popular video. I started Stock in 2019 and early pivoted my focus to video as it pays much more (generally). Port size on Adobe is 212 illustrations, 892 photos and 2269 videos. I've made $5,462 so far this year on Adobe and $10,865 combined on the four agencies I contribute to. 👌
Nice! That's solid income - I would agree video is definitely more lucrative, but I am concerned AI is making advances quickly in realistic video generation, which may soon also impact contributors.
For users in Brazil, what is the withdrawal method like? I have some accounts there and i remember they only accept Paypal metod and Paypal doesn't link to my account when I withdraw the funds
I'm one of those trying just using ai images. I've made half of what you have with only 2000 images in total. I have been too busy to upload new ones since Jan, but have had some great weeks recently, up to 60 usd, however the past couple of weeks its slowed. I do wonder if the frequency you upload affects how much the algorythm feeds our images to buyers. Not sure which of us is doing something right or wrong.
hello sir i upload 501 photos on adobe stock 3 months ago but still all photos are in review they didn't approve or reject please let me know what to do now any soultion
Hey trace , very good video ! I was wondering if I can help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and make Highly Engaging Thumbnails which will help your videos to get more views and engagement . Please let me know what do you think ?
thanks for the insights, im on adobe now a bit over a month, 1500 active ai images with 11 downloads, im motivated to get numbers like you^^ the most time consuming thing is the tagging in my case, i try to get as many keywords as possible but that slows it so down and some images takes forever^^ i see u used only 10 keywords in ur image :o is it enough to take less keywords?
@@alicefournier4665 hmmm 500 download per month is really much with 1500 images :o i'm doing "every" topic or niche what ever u wanna call it, some backgrounds, people in general, landscapes and stuff like that, i think my images looks good^^ and they have some varety in it idk
I think at the end of the day, because AI is so easy to do now, more and more people will continue to blast these sites with bulk uploads of repetitive content. Keywords help, but it's extremely tedious and I fear as more people upload, we'll continue to get lost in the mix
@@tracerouda The real issue is people like this guy, saying he uploaded 1500 images in one month while it took me near a year of carefully selecting and editing the images. Spammers are the issues. But they dont get much money either so idk why they do it. with 1500 images you should be making already hundreds of downloads per month.
Same they stopped accepting mine 3 days ago and they just sat in “in review” so I deleted 500 images since they weren’t accepting them right away like they were- not sure what I might have done wrong
I started adobe Stock Contributor 2 months ago- I’ve uploaded 5,300 ai accepted images but lately past few days they have stopped accepting mine right away like they were. Im concerned because I’m about to step it up and add much more… but I got to 500 in review and after that 2 or 3 days later they have stalled on accepting them. I dont have any videos yet contemplating subscribing to Pika to remove that watermark on the Discord server. Anyways thank you for your video I’m only at 51 downloads but I think it will take more time- as I keep getting more downloads every day.
in 2 month 5300 images , means if you Don't sleep/eat/Toilet and work 24hr a day for 2 month , then its would take apporx 16 min per image for 5300 ( including generating +upscale + artifact Edit + uploading + keywording) Which is in one line impossible , so you are a spammer
@@coinwiser I created software that generates AI images several hundred per day on one middle PC for different prompts, with high-quality upscaling and automatic generation of high-quality tags and titles. The only human task now is to check (sort, removing the worst) the images before uploading (publication occurs automatically). And you know what? AI images are accepted at 3000 within an hour after uploading to one account (but after high-quality AI images on the same topic were previously uploaded). And it's amazing how fast - there is apparently no control on Adobe Stock. Look at the statistics of images on Adobe Stock. Over the last 10 days, 24 MILLION images have been published, this is a colossal number, this is madness. And probably not only my software creates hundreds of pieces of content, but many large companies and programmers do this. 🤐
If I was a betting man.... my guess is AI gets washed out with too many submissions, as well as Adobe's own AI generators, and there's little money to be made in it in the future unfortunately (for AI submittals specifically).
@@tracerouda Yes, it will soon be difficult to make money on AI images, as well as for other content makers. AI images are cheaper to produce, so there will be fewer opportunities to make money on them due to huge competition. But AI images will mainly cover the market where people are willing to pay a low fee for images - and this is the peculiarity of AI images - they will occupy the market that expensive content makers (photographers, illustrators, video makers) have not paid attention to before. But one way or another, AI images will take over part of the income from other content makers. Because they can perform the same function (create the same content) as most content makers for a very small price. You can always make money on AI images. But the problem is different - if you can make money on generating AI images just like on photographs, then why doesn't Adobe just always generate images for the client (or fill its database with its own AI images) so as not to pay money to the authors? Most likely, Adobe is very actively doing this now. In the future, most likely, some very strict restriction on AI content from Adobe will be introduced (so that bot systems are not created that mindlessly download any garbage), but Adobe is unlikely to completely ban AI from publication on the site. And people will earn more on real photos for the simple reason that people will more often choose real photos than artificial ones. But until the relevant content runs out during the search and you have to search in the AI content section.

One of the most sincere opinion I am doing stock photography for 1.5 years this guy is sadly speaking the truth
Appreciate it - trying to keep it real with people whereas other channels inflate expectations!
I don't really comment so much but you deserve it because of your hard work

I can relate to what you said. I do not know what these TH-camrs say making blah blah a day. I been doing mine since 2016
Yea I feel like they inflate their earnings to get views unfortunately… definitely not a get rich quick side hustle!
Nice video, thanks
Thanks!

These sites used to pay A LOT more back in the day. When I first started in 2014, I was making monthly what I am now making yearly.
