There have been two pauses in warming, since early 90s, and has risen about 1C since 1900, which still makes it cooler than the Medieval Warming Period, by about 1C, the Roman Warming Period, was about 2C warmer. So much so, the Romans grew grapes on the Scottish border, and the Vikings settled Greenland and farmed it. Those settlements are now under several metres of ice. As for the sun, it is the most influential on global warming, not puny humans.
Well, yes, without the sun, the human race wouldn’t be here to alter the planet. And yes we’re just the latest in a long line of inhabitants of planet Earth to affect its atmosphere and climate.
And yes, the climate doesn’t need saving, the Earth doesn’t care how many species are extant. But we do! We want to remain alive.

No actually flights are based on demand and a frequent flyer levy will reduce demand and therefore reduce the number of flights. It's pretty simple. The number of flights has only increased in recent years because of an increase in demand. The same thing works in reverse.
Why don't they go to Davos to campaign about frequent flyers!

You clearly have no idea how governments get the money. Tax has to be paid, and if we do not pay it by travelling etc then it has to come from somewhere. Well we never hear about the natural climate change , volcanic eruptions under sea plates tectonics movement, the tilt of the earth moving the sea levels, rain monsoon caused by the warm pacific ocean heated up, from the under sea volcanoes mostly from the pacific rim , ring of fire. Plus the constant volcanic activity in the northern hemisphere , all of them putting thousands of cubic tons of poisonous gases. In to the upper atmosphere turning the rain in to acid that changes the temperature and humidity to be unstable , affecting all the moisture all over the earth the biggest one so far this last year or so was the Tonga islands eruption, putting millions of tones of water vapour and ash up in to the stratosphere , that volume went all over the planet, and quoted to up set the rain , and weather conditions for years to come , no mention of this is in the climate model , this island will never set a good example, why, most other countries can see it will never happen by a date as there no replacement to switch over to by that date , in our part of the world wind farms are controlled by the wind speed , to much wind and they have to be shut down or they would become unstable and burn out, the solar panels are dependent on lots of sun time to be any were near efficient , and we need a fallback fuel supply, Gas ,or nuclear power, O , and by the way has any one worked out how much carbon will be produced by installing all the new power grids to be used in all of the UK cities , for the E V’s roads up new power cables to be laid it will take years to install and manufacture , more carbon footprints all over the UK after it is up and running , the payback to the government and private companies will be decades of tax on us , we might not live long enough, for us that are now alive now , to get out of this extra fuel tax, I don’t know how it will be cheaper, as the cost is continuing to rise , so if we lose our gas and heating oil , and end up on one power sauce Electricity, if that gos down , we might see people freezing too death. Just like in the U S A when they had a massive power outage, in the parts that relied totally on wind and solar power your famous Renewables. Let’s be sensible and spread this over many types of power sources, at this time if your gas is stoped by a fault, they will give you a small electric fan heater, can you see them supplying gas bottles with a heater, or a portable generator , if a hole street gos with out ,or half a big town or city. Sum of us will definitely die of hypothermia, We just don’t cater for this kind of thing anymore.
