Excellent review Kiethron, thank you! I love the end of the video where Sykius (excuse my spelling) showin off his rhythmic prowess, what an amazing job he does!!! Ok Donner...the good, the bad and the ugly...the good ~ true stereo, natural cymbal decay, great module placement, super duty hi-hat pedal, utilitarian rack clamps...the bad ~ I agree, I wouldn't want a drum set without a real hi-hat stand which is limited to machine gun sounds...the ugly ~ it's a shame that the bar has not been raised by the drum companies for the dynamic playing sensitivity where the omission of these features degrades the drums to beginner kits...
I figured out how to make the bluetooth audio to work on the Titan 70. On your phone, go to setting, Connections, Bluetooth. Titan 70 shows up 2 times in there. So, click on the one that has the 2 squares, a circle, and the headsets Icon. make sure your module is on. connect that Bluetooth icon and it shows connected to audio😊😊. audio from the phone is now in the module headphones. Thanks for sharing the clip at the end.
Donner 500 vs Simmons 1250 or Simmons Titan 70. I can't wait for your review on the Donner back beat that's another one I've been waiting for you to do.
About 1:41..I notice the Drums sneakers.. Kool. I'm just order the DED-500 Pro. Price drop to $820. I seen your video of this DED 500 set against the Titan 70 video. Did you ever compare against/review the Pro yet..?
Hi Keith. In Indonesia I don't have the Simmons distributor,so can't get any Simmons product. The products to be compared here are Donner DED 500 pro and Alesis Crimson 2 SE,which one better in your opinion? I want to buy the set for my son who is a beginner drummer.
Super review.!! I'm facing the choice of my first learning kit (completely new, but I've always wanted to play drums) and I don't know what to choose to start with, Donner ded 500 or Alesis Nitro MAX? And only in this price range?
I've had mine about eight months. I like it. However. I don't like the sounds, the hi- hat pedal or the snare. Also the same thing as you it seems quite. And the snare slowly falls as I play. All this sounds super bad but I do like the kit
Maybe even this vs the Titan 50. They're not in the same price range, so if the Titan 50 beats this one than we'll for sure know the Titan line is better.
Really great honest review. My DED500 Pro kit will be delivered this week. I am really keen to get the additional Cymbal and Tom. But Donner hasn't got them. Not sure why. But in saying that. The module does allow for 3 zone cymbals. I'd like your opinion on which would be good buys to get a set of three 15"+ 3 zone cymbals. That'd be really helpful info. Another would be a good 13-14" snare. I could use the stock snare as an extra floor tom. But great share. Thank you.
Everyone is saying they are great except for the computer, cant you just replace it with another company's? Im curious...im hoping to pick up the pro version, but they are on back order everywhere so they must be decent
KP - i have simmons sd350. Im lookin to upgrade to titan 50 or nitro max or perhaps titan 70. How are the sounds from sd350 compared to titan 50? If you want to compare sd350 sounds vs nitro max n titan 70 real quick as well then even better. Thanks!
I'm bro I really tried to find a direct email to u but nothing..any ways go into the module on ded 500..there ways to control the issues u said about..and..also there is facilities for 3 zone snare and 3 zone ride with...bell yes!!!..it needs some time to figure...but it's there!!
There is also considerable room to adjust the triggers.but it's bit blind sided but it's there it's very close to roland adjustable theory...please go and look again

Thanks for watching all the way.
I would say Donner 500 vs Titan 70 but we all know what the winner will be! 😃 hopefully you will do 500 vs Pro vs UpBeat
I hope the send an upbeat
I have been waiting so long for you to do this review thanks bro
Thanks for watching

Awesome review Keith, waiting for you to do the Donner Back Beat❤🎉
I hope they send one
@KeithronPowell Yes it popped up on my youtube yesterday. Looks like a kit with a ton of extras. NICE though
Definitely this vs the Titan 70
👍🏽

They decided to not send the pro because the module is the same. The only difference is the hi hat.

Bro tries the Fesley FED 1500, it looks incredible
It does

I’m not sure the 500 might take that one. Imma have to get into it.
I was wondering if I could just buy the frame and the brackets to put my Titan 70 kit on. I am thinking it wouldnt work.
Don’t think they sell it that way.

I've been hearing Amazon has the entire kits on back order too...I was hoping to pick one up.
Hope you enjoy it! I’d say just pick one and go!
@@KeithronPowell I've been checking out some of the Yamaha stuff. The 3 point cymbals sound pretty realistic....
@trevord4243 Hey! Did you end up getting the 3 zone ride cymbal? I'd like to know how you hooked it up if you did get it. Thanks!
Everyone is saying they are great except for the computer, cant you just replace it with another company's? Im curious...im hoping to pick up the pro version, but they are on back order everywhere so they must be decent
Some times you can just swap the module but not all are compatible.
KP - i have simmons sd350. Im lookin to upgrade to titan 50 or nitro max or perhaps titan 70. How are the sounds from sd350 compared to titan 50? If you want to compare sd350 sounds vs nitro max n titan 70 real quick as well then even better. Thanks!
There is no comparison. The sounds in the Titan series drums are better than any he older sounds.
Can you connect to a laptop? Can you add extra cymbals
Yes and yes
So Titan 70 still King 👑...🤔
Still holding strong!
I really like Donner shells and module too...Titan 70 it is

It's only because of your channel that it helped me to solve a problem for my friend and now I can help him make some recordings this year
Because,.I can't use areal kit in his place
Donner 500 pro ro alesis nitro max??? Please help!!!
Pro? Thats a hard question with the pro. The regular… on sounds an accuracy is Nitro… on size of drums.. Donner
Where did you get shoes
I designed them. Was gonna sell them but don’t think anyone would want them. I just wear them to play.
Donner 500 vs simmons titan 70 bro..
That seems to be the request
donner VS allesis Nitro max
🤔 bet!
Great review, I've played that kit and the sounds are dreadful, no excuse really.
😂 wow dreadful?
