Just a little Info. In the effects menu, you can highlight one of the functions, and it will be assigned to the multifunction knob on the radio. It is a handy feature. I like to use it for controlling breaking on the fly.

You can set servo endpoints in the app too. It’s in the garage and the click the steering and you can adjust that and the throttle.

My GCRC V2 fan on the Esc blows air up instead of down through the top, which makes the entry point of air through the heat sink on the ESC. The air at it's entry point is cooler so it attacks the Heat at its source, and exhaust itself upwards and out of the fan. Either way works well, but I have GCRC's fan that exhaust up which cools my ESC at 20 degrees lower temperatures compared to exhausting down through. But either way it makes no difference, GCRC out performs all others, rather it blows up or down. Great video Earl Keep On Keepin On.

I'm surprised the Traxxas esc is still running. Traxxas should have stayed with the monster mamba 2 esc with their 6s rc's IMO. The GC FAN Rocks, I've already got one to put on a sledge when ever my lhs gets them in to go get it.

Earl you can go into channel setup and you can adjust your endpoints and on throttle you can adjust it to 120% and you get a lot more power also sometimes the steering sensitivity and the throttle sensitivity are opposite so if you turn it up it'll actually go slower if you turn it down it'll go faster so watch out for that play with it a little bit

Since it's known that the motor mount on the Sledge moves constantly, wouldn't putting on a heavy fan on it make it worse? I guess we will see Earl. Really want the Sledge 2.0.

Mine has not moved since I adjusted out of the box the reason is no lock tight should be used as arrma needs it this design I feel it doesn’t but the screws need to be tightened up pretty good maybe a lock under the mount idk yet but working on it 👍👍

Earl do you think Traxxas really updated the firmware on that 6s ESC? Or do you think it's the same as the Revo 2.0? I put the 8s vxl in my e Revo and it seems way snappier. Supposedly Traxxas made that new sledge ESC more snappy. What do you think?? Thanks as always!!

black tape turns gooey very shortly when exposed to heat and moisture AND is by no means a permanent solution... your an aftermarket alarm install guy so you already know that. Which beckons the question why not just cut the power and ground wires and then use heatshrink? Or at least pull them out of the power connectors to slip some on that way? Oh and as loud as that thing is you might as well had used a ducted fan placed over your motor because damn!
