Vr std approx 128 kw but long strokes and runs on torque more than kw compared to the run x with shorter gearing and a high revving motor. The results was not a surprise at all.

Yeah same here in my 99 Celica gts exhaust/intake pulls on most cars except yeah raced a newish probs 2016-2020 A3 T which was modded for sure it had body kit and exhaust and could hear the turbo and that thing pulled at the start but was still somewhat keeping pace once i got the 2zzge screaming
The euro spec Runx ( Corolla in uk) is known as the T-sport ( TRD). Our local TRD version had factory 5 spoke 17 inch wheels whereas the normal Rsi had the 15inch multi spoke wheels. If I'm not mistaken
No guys... the RunX was always going to win. Its a newer car, more developed engine. Yes its a 20v, but the Vr6 is a 12v. Sadly the 0.8cc of displacement between the two, doesnt count for anything here. If the road was clear, no traffic, it would have been worse for the Vr6. That period jetta or vr6 motor had 130kw where as the RunX has 150kw. I was always going to have the legs over the Vr6. But as i said the 2001-2005 version of the 2.8l vr6 which was now a 24v and had 150kw..... that would have been a race to watch.
