@ray1411 boston has "OUR" own hiphop scene! its up to "US" to help the growth of it... home team support! dig ya point on unification between the old heads, but dont go shitten on the young heads! go check their track list G.dot & Born got some shit with them!!! "true fan" 80's boston baby! we got so much talent on hand in my city! u just check for views, Bean got this!!!! "HOME OF THE HATE ON US HA HA'
I dont know. I really wish Boston could make a mark in Hip Hop. I mean, they did it with Guru, but he represented BK to death. But, for a real Boston artist make a mark, I know for sure they wont do it making shit like this. Listen, every region with any longevity following NYCs impact introduced their region's culture with an artist with substantive lyrics (e.g., Atlanta had Outkast, the Bay Area had Too Short and Hiero, Texas had The Geto Boys, LA had NWA, etc.). Boston needs 1 good one.
Ed OG did was a good start but he fell off--real quick. And he couldve extended his run if there was more synergy in Boston. One thing about Boston is, for some reason, they are back-biting. Boston never unified. I mean real unity, on all levels, not just one or two artist but the whole Bean--Benzino work with Mr. Lif, or Ed OG work with Akrobatik, or Termanology work Reks. And I dont mean just record songs but business as well, like Benzino could put a Boston spotlight in his Hip Hop Weekly.
"I'm Red Sox, Celtics, Boston Bruins with this." 617 baby.

Then, why did Philly make a mark?

Dope beat and artists except for the last cat. Way off beat and subpar lyrics aside from that last line
