Really Struggling to make a decision, I've ridden a Honda Grom and Kawasaki 400 for lessons and Have had a pretty powerful Torquey E-bike for a awhile now. My main goal is to get the R7 this year but I keep double guessing myself. Either the R7 or the Kawasaki 500 maybe the R3 to but I don't know what to pick.

Very glad to see this comment sounds exactly like me.Before I bought my R7,I rode a bunch of groms and other small 125cc-150cc bikes, and I owned a surron for a year i’m sure you know about the surrons they have a lot of torque and do take some throttle control to ride without hurting yourself,I also rode a yamaha R6 just to see how the bigger sport bikes felt,so I recommend you get the R7 over the ninja 400 or R3,because you would be considered an amateur rider you’re not out here ripping the big 1000cc bikes but you’re also not new to a bit of power, shifting and clutch work, same thing with me,we’re kind of in the middle when it comes to bike experience and skill,if you were a new rider, very first bike you owned and rode,a ninja 400,Yamaha R3 would be the way to go,but with already having motorcycle experience I feel like you would have buyers remorse a few weeks or months into having it,R7 does have enough torque to pick up the front end I think it’s only in 1st gear tho maybe 2nd gear but for sure 1st,so you’d want to keep that in mind and be careful with how much gas you’re giving it,but anyways as long as you got the clutch and throttle control down which Im thinking you would with riding groms and ninja 400’s,you would be okay, but then again the R7 has more power than both those bikes so even with the experience, say if you were to get one just take it easy, learn the bike learn the power of it and then as time goes on you’ll get more comfy with it and will be able to do more,When I first got mine I had never gone faster than 60mph on a bike in my life, then I bought the R7 and slowly upped the speed to what I was comfortable with when I got scared ide slow down, and now I can do 135mph down the highway whenever I want. It’ll just come with time but yeah my reason for saying that is just recommending you to take it slow a little bit when you first get it until you’re comfortable with the power then you start to push it more and more and then you’ll really start to love it once you’re fully confident on riding it.Hope this made sense and might of helped you.Take what I said into consideration but of course do whatever you think is right.

Sorry for the paragraph 😂didn’t realize how much it was until after I sent it but I tried explaining it the best I could that a ninja 400 and R3 are full on beginner bikes and R7 is more of a middle weight/amateur bike

@RowdyR7 dude, thanks for the in-depth response 🙏🏿 I had been watching motorcycle videos all day and made my mind to get a KRT 500 SE edition. 🤣 now I feel confident to go ahead with a R7 purchase. The E-bike i had was a GhostCat it's not as top speed heavy like the Surron but the GhostCat will put you on your ass if you're not very careful with the throttle (seen it happen first hand to my coworker 😂) but yeah hopefully in the future I want to take up track days, but thanks again broksi for the advice. Keep riding the ride and be safe out there 🙏🏿

@@ImmortalBanditz Yeah mines looking pretty dark and i’ve been riding it hard every since 600 miles so yeah good recommendation the weathers gotten really bad in texas only 30-40 degrees so I’ll go ahead and do an oil change and change my rear tire while i’m not riding much
