i did my engine swap from 125 to 250 everything is was the same on mine. and i was using one radiator for over 2 years. only need 2 if u gonna get stuck in traffic. it was so fun flying past other 125's with an L plate on haha
@@Velocity-Media it´s fairly easy to do...if you have the new 250cc engine, it´s a straight swap. Even you can do it. it takes about 2 hours to do. it´s easier if u do it with a mate. But can be done on your own. i´ve not got the bike anymore. Crack on and if u get stuck, DM me for help

To be honest I can’t remember but I think I bought engine and radiator come with it so I think you will need radiator just bit bigger but try to use this one and just see have temperature is holding if not good just get bigger radiator

Never did my self but why not always up for some interesting projects cbf engines. Are really good and strong enough but just don’t take engine from 2015 and up because they got restrictions and not strong enough I fine best is like from 2009 to 2014 stronger engines

No don’t think you need any ecu but definitely check your ground wiring did happen to me ones was not able to start the bike and was electrical issue no spark ends up there was ground wire under engine and that’s the problem check all wirings
I found my issue I was using the flywheel it came with but my gt250r was carbureted, so after a lot of trail and error I discovered I needed to use my old carbureted flywheel. Cranked right up after I swapped.. ty again for the reply I made a vid on my page now. Thanks Again for reply hopefully this helps someone else.

All can be done just all the pend engine and frame measurements and is it really needed you can get in trouble for that you see 250cc is just same the only difference is inside and you can not get in trouble

Hi well to be honest I got lucky see up on marketplace just for 250£ and off course grab a bargain but probably best place to get them is to buy some old gv250 hyosung that will be cheaper like smashed up or write offs

Well you can do your self just somehow grind that 250cc from cylinders and engine number and then use some small tool with hammer to make new numbers like chisel and then respray engine I know it will take some good time but can be done also I believe there is guys out there doing all this just need to find them well I did my self and it work out not bad at all it’s just takes a bit of time

Yes but you need to get restriction certificate so they just restrict your bike with some mechanical help and up to your as soon you got certificate you can get restriction of your self or live on but yes can be done

M Gibbins engine got brand new pistons brand new transmission magneto rotor changed and also brand new oil pump basically I perfect condition inside!! Engine price is 370£ ONO!! And if you like me to replace all off it will be 100£ but I am sure you know what you do!!

Difference is the 125 engine is the 250 engine but they build smaller on the inside
Yeah for sure compression is bigger pistons are bigger and timing chain all is bigger inside but outside there is no difference
