    Hello my friend!! My H2 Hummer is 100% fixed! It was the spark plug wires. My wires said .996 ohms when I tested them. The confusing part was the online websites said 1000 ohms is correct, the websites were wrong!!!These are the wrong wire for the H2. It should be .350 ohms Part # 9748HH

      How did you get the small connector hose disconnected at the rear of the tank? I'm pinching it with my fingers but I'm getting nothing. It appears to be made out of plastic so I'm confused why I'm having trouble with it.🤷

    My h2 is a little beat, im not too concerned with keeping it all factory or anything, what do you think about the going through the floor process? I've seen people cut a square out if the floor and then rivet and silicone gasket it back in place. Think that'd be any easier?

    • @hummerfixes

      Thank you very much for your comment, indeed I've heard that too, in fact I just watched a video. The downside of working through a hatch is it's like trying to "decorate your hallway through the mailbox" It'll be harder removing the debris from inside the tank and if the Evap or Fuel pipes needs working on the tank might need to come out anyway. In the end it comes down to where you divide your labor, plus the risk factor. If you do go down the hatch route, post a video it would be good to get another perspective.

      @@hummerfixes yes those are good points. It'd be nice to see everything while the tanks down too. The more I think about it there's always a reason to do things the right way and not take shortcuts lol, I think ill just drop the tank. thanks.

    Hey mate turns out it wasn’t the knock sensors. But i know it was good to replace them. The gasket did give the engine more air. Installed new coil packs getting even more power but still mis firing. I have new fuel injectors. Fingers crossed this fixes the misfire. They have never been cleaned and were covered in oil. Im confident new injectors will fix mis, ill let you know how it goes. My though process is everything I have done has made engine stronger but not getting enough fuel. Will follow up later

    ♥️Great video!!!!! I'm having an issue getting the small connector hose that sits beside the main fuel hose at the rear of the tank disconnected for some reason. It's just weird why I'm having so much trouble getting it off. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated thanks.👍😎👌

    How do you remove the locking clip on the electrical line that attaches to the pump? I'm in the middle of this job. Good video!

    Got off the knock sensors, rear super rusted both filled with water. Lots of oil in beneath fuel injectors, its like caked inside above pistons, do you think that is all from faulty oil sensor unit leaking, cheers mate

    My H2 sluggish when I hit gas pedal, do you think I should change fuel pump too? Was just going to do the filter. Thx mate

    • @hummerfixes
      @hummerfixes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello my friend. Can be many causes, but check/replace the the air-filter and inspect MAF sensor.
      Ahead of changing the FP then "yes" if it's an 03 (the only model with a seperate fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator, it could be either) I'd be tempted to change these 1st, starting with the filter followed by the regulator. You'd normally do this anyway when replacing the pump.
      For later models changing the pump is the only real option in my opinion, because of time, effort, cost and risk.
      My Deep Dive video shows more details on the FP's see > th-cam.com/video/Zl1I8guXwJU/w-d-xo.html

      @@hummerfixes I cleaned the mass flow. It was better. I put it in spark, new cats, new exhaust, new air filter, only thing that left would the fuel filter. Just doesnt feel like its getting gas. Thx 4 the response mate .

      @@longlivechina7538 agreed, fuel filter next, be interested to know how that job goes. Do you get any DTC's ?

    • @longlivechina7538

      @@hummerfixes Yes, But I dont have a reader to check codes.

    • @hummerfixes
      @hummerfixes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@longlivechina7538 DTC's are the "keys" to everything. FYI I have two diganostic tools, a cheap ELM327 with the TORQUE app on my phone, it doesn't everythis but is good enough for most stuff, it can clear codes too, very useful (keep it in the cab) I also have a Tech2 the best investment I ever made, I'd be lost without it.
      The H2 has over 350 DTCs, it's electronics communication system is amazing, complex and without a DTC very hard to diagnose. For example your issue could be EVAP related but without a DTC to work from it's all guesswork.
      Two useful bits of kit 1) an OBD2 Diagnostic Tool ✔ and 2) a digital battery tester....✔

    How many hours did it take you? Im doing this 2mrw. Also how many lines do you disconnect with ropes around tank? How do they become disconnected thank you car show Friday not confident I’ll make it unless I fix pump

    • @hummerfixes
      @hummerfixes  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Regarding hours, bear in mind a few things.
      The 03 system is different, here's a YT video on it th-cam.com/video/YvyGwXNTZr4/w-d-xo.html
      Working out what to do, plus shooting a video single-handed takes extra time, for you with YT help it should be easier and quicker.
      My best estimate would be 1 full day if all goes well, depends on rust etc. Been there myself with show deadlines, being so close to the date is difficult call, be better not to rush the job. Of course it may not be the pump.
      You can see from the video link (parts 1 & 2) the pipes you need to access, I wouldn't be comfortable with cutting the wheel lining, hence I used ropes to lower the tank down (empty) My fuel lines had a white plastic collar which is pressed sideways to release, yours look to be the same, but depending on the level of rust they may take a little extra effort.
      Hope it all goes well 🤞
