Thank you sir for presenting your video on acl year and I am so much hopeful that you would give me proper advice .I am 60 yrs old having only acl tear 40 yrs back and want acl reconstruction my cartiledge and meniscus normal.i got my knee x-ray in standing way and there is no arthritis and no pain.now I feel problem and always fear of falling down and in future my problem will increase.Till now I did not get surgery due to ignorance ¬ knowing about this.i repent what should i do please suggest me.

Done my ACL in 2015, 3screws were implanted on my knee, One of the screw giving problem like its trying to come out & its visible under the skin, successfully removed yesterday. Its a titanium screw, how beautiful it is metallic blue in color 💙
But i dont know why my surgeon/doctor didn't told me about these Bio-absorbable screws before the surgery, If i tend to know about bio screws, i definitely opt for it, Bcoz it eliminates the removal right😅
still 2 screws left on my knee, Doc told me there will be no issues with this screws its perfectly set. But I've a doubt whether in future these 2 screws will give any problem or need removal surgery!!!
Mostly titanium is also inert screw and doesn’t give any reaction.
Only rarely there is problem of loosening as in your case !
It’s realy uncommon.
Titanium is also very commonly used screw !
