Up and down this morning. Lost 3 in a row, though to be transparent, they were not in accordance with the metrics like my plan, which is trendlines along with metrics. Ended up $681 off the metrics and price action. Filled at 20467.25 Held until manual stop limit trailed at 20587.75. A little slippage on the close, and missed 4 points on the entry. But overall, very happy today.
I counted a 16-4 record during market hours today (I'm going back to ensure I would not have been stopped out of more trades with a 20 tick stop loss). After commissions, if you're trading a single NQ each time, you'd have about $1,100. Not bad for sitting at a desk. EDIT: I have an atomic wall clock that sits by my monitor so I know when the new candle is about to paint. Sure, I could just wait for it, but an atomic clock, in my opinion, is a must-have accessory for any trader.

Especially since the next 3 right after the losers, were winners! 😉

Not sure the price action confirms 4 for 4 this morning as I was in it. Could not get in the market before the target hits, if you get into market orders the slippage was terrible as well.
The price action actually does confirm it, you can see the signals and take profit line right on the screen. If the price action is moving quickly, it does take some practice and or different techniques to get in around the signaled price. I personally only use limit orders to get in, and will miss a trade if price is moving too fast. It's ok to miss trades in this scenario, there will be plenty more!
Every single one of these trades ended up taking profit for five Points each and actually running even further on some of them. This will tell you exactly the entry point and where the profit Target was.
in the Signal, the assumption is that you are entering on the "closing price" of the candle when you market in, which is mostly not true. You get the worst fill if you Market in, and the slippage can be huge. The reason the signal worked was because it gave more than 10 ticks from the closing price, and possibly 10+ ticks from the entry price. But it cut really close on days like today where the price action is not great, and slippage is possible. Justin, it would help if you can verify that when you market in, do you get the exact closing price (because that is what the profit calculation is based on).
Usually the signal pops up way in advance, so you just have to wait for the current candle to close. Have your ATM ready and activate your instant order execution and you should not have any problems. Slippage works in both ways usually.
Watching your vids and going back over the US session the following morning my time, there's no excuses for not making money if you can trade US session. I wish I could trade US session- I'd have a lambo by now 😆
I just got the script yesterday. What is the stop loss and does the signal print right as you need to execute the trade or does it give you a heads up. Any tutorials out there and how does one get in the discord? Thanks for any guidance.
You only take a signal at the close of the candle it's printed on and stop loss is always when candles close on the other side of the profit wave. Also if the profit wave is far away when the signal illuminates you can usually wait for a pull back closer to the profit wave and still get the original profit target as long as the other metrics still line up and only take it if the otherwise of the profit wave is close enough that u feel comfortable with the risk. Hope this helps

I initially set a 20 tick stop loss but will move it down (past the current point of the opposite site of the Profit Wave) so I'm following the rules. Sure, I get stopped out every once in a while because price violently reverses, but better to lose $100 than $200 or more! This works for me, not advice, just what I do.
You can figure it out with a bit of research, which will require watching some of the older videos - which is a good thing to do anyway (and Justin knows that I know; we had a good laugh about it during one of our one-on-one sessions after I assured him that I have better things to do than stalk him in... well, the city where his brewery is. :)

Justin said a while back that he's working on a version for NinjaTrader but I don't have an update. I keep TradingView on one monitor and NinjaTrader on another. I have TradingView set up to fire an alert (with the most irritating sound I could find so it's hard to miss), then put a Stop Market order on the chart a few points away from where I think the signal candle will close about 10-15 seconds before the signal candle closes, then slide it into place to catch the "white dot" close about a second before it closes. I also use Ninja's ATM to set a 20 tick profit (and stop loss) as soon as my trade is entered as I sometimes don't have time to manually set a take profit (one trade I took exited 2 seconds later). I have an atomic clock so I can count down the seconds. Hope this helps.
I'm sorry that 2nd trade at 1022 am est is not a winner the open was 20495 the high was 20495 the low was 20466 and it closed at 20481. The sell signal was at 20482.50. And then the NQ started moving higher.
It is a winner. The signal price at candle close was 20482.50 as you mentioned. The profit target was 20477.50 and next candle's low is 20474.225. So price definitely crossed the profit target after the signal candle / entry.

I go back through every evening with a little 20 tick "ruler" I make from the Gann Box (under the Fib tools on TV) and there's a little red tail sticking out from under the box when I place the top at the candle close (white dot). I have to be more careful, thanks for the assist!

You're absolutely right with these winning percentages, it's really hard to lose money.
The bottom indicator looks like a money flow index. What indicator did you use for the ribbon?
How do we set the scale for 20 point increments. It seems like default is 10 and I cannot change it?
You can manually adjust it to any amount you want in the take profit field
You just right click and drag the price scale up or down until you see increments of 20.

Right mouse Click on your main chart and go to settings, under canvas adjust the brightness of the section that says horizontal lines
You just right click and drag the price scale up or down until you see increments of 20.
If I use the 1min and 20 ticks for target profit. How many ticks for the stop loss?
When the white dot closes outside the profit wave, there’s no fixed stop loss.
You need to give the market room to breathe and that's why the profit wave is so important for your stop loss
