    The narrative style of this show really subtracts from the intrigue of watching Zimmern taste a food and review it right after.

    I'm mildly confused, since when did The Netherlands become part of Scandinavia? Licorice, or better yet drop, is massively consumed and produced by the Dutch. The Dutch are even the highest consuming population with an average of 2kg per person per year.

    • @fastertove
      @fastertove 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, you are right about The Netherlands being a higher producer/consumer of licorice, but it is not the only place... They were already talking about "smørrebrød" in Denmark so it seemed logical to talk about licorice that also is a major regional delicacy. My guess is that the focus was meant to be on the salty licorice NaCl or NH4Cl, that many of the Nordic countries prefer. Any way, the program seemed a bit rushed to me... It really seems like that they just visit a few places and afterwards make up the episode/plot from that... The series where the host actually helps making and eating the food is way better, imo.

    Why is he not tasting our food (Denmark) and Bali? i am so disapointed...

    • @bink

      Kasper Mikkelsen In the Delicious Destinations episodes, he doesn't actually go to the places so he can't taste the food. He just narrates.

      Kasper Mikkelsen your food taste like shit plus it has no flavour why do you think there's no restaurants dedicated to your shity country food

    • @strawbam6786
      @strawbam6786 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The best restaurant in the world for several years was a danish restaurant Noma. even if it was the truth that were were no restaurants dedicated to danish food it wouldnt matter. better keep the good stuff inside Denmark, so ignorant and trashy people like you can enjoy it :)

    This a narrated only episode, its also a little tame when it comes to "bizarre foods", as its more like a your traditional "travel" doco. With tame foods and just your general run of the mill tourist hotspots.
    He has done a more "bizarre" orientated episode for Indonesia but unfortunately its kind of hard to find on TH-cam. To be perfectly honest he could probably do an entire series on the area alone there are that many things to eat.
