The most informative vlog I have seen on HKDL. Thumbs up Sam I hope you can follow with a recommended 3-day visit itinerary as suggested in the comments. It will be very helpful.
Thx so much for the explaination and tips! I go with my daughter, 7 yr, in oktober. We go first sha, hk and last tokio. So happy to see your videos now! Just perfect. :)
Thanks so much Sam, such great detailed information all about Hong Kong Disneyland. I'm so pleased that you can meet all the Duffy &Friends characters...so cute 😍 & not too bad wait times really? Oh wow how fascinating that the Castle had a completer re-design, I never knew that? Mickey & the Wondrous Book looks a fab show! Loved hearing about all the rides, food, hotels, fireworks....etc x
OMG I'm from Hong Kong and I'm so glad u enjoyed your trip at HKDL!! By the way the grizzly bear ride and hyperspace mountain are wayyyy faster at night so if u want the thrill, u may wanna check those out at night where it is less crowded :) (and also perhaps it's because there're less kids at night so they make the rides faster)
This is awesome! Thanks so much for this! Would you happen to have a recommended itinerary for those who only have 1 day at the park, but would love to see and do everything we can? Also, how long before the fireworks show should we get a spot? Thanks again !!
I visited hong kong disneylnd last few weeks, it was a blast. Taking a photo with mickey have to wait like 40 min. Yep very time consuming. Mystic manor ( rode 3 times ) & momentous NTS was my highlights!
Hate how common it is to upsell customers (is that the phrase?) by confusing them. It shouldn't even be legal. It's always done in a way that it's "technically" the customer's fault for not paying attention but it's completely unreasonable that we should be on high alert whenever we make a purchase because the seller may confuse us intentionally to make more money. Frustrating.
They’re also shows in Hong Kong Disneyland, like the one in the world of frozen that you actually need to ahead of time book with the Premier access so that you can enter the show in that specific timeslot that you’ve chosen.
Hello, I stumbled on your channel while searching for information for Hong Kong and Shanghai. Disneyland. Thank you for all the info. It's very helpful. I do have one question. Can you purchase your theme park tickets at the hotel upon arrival at both Hong Kong and Shanghai Disneyland? I was able to purchase my tickets in Tokyo at the hotel when we arrived. I was wondering if it's the same there?
You are correct, but it not only applies to the park tickets but also applies to annual passes that you do need to book your reservation for that day that you want to go to the park.
But they also have examples if you go to the park during the summertime, they would have a special version of what they call the Pixar water party and also for the state show, they call it as the the summer edition of the follow your dreams stage show. But they are also like Halloween in October. They will be completely replaced the different indoor and outdoor venue areas to be Halloween themed shows, Also, they would have some thing that is, can make it look like it’s snowing in the December celebration
But not only in Hong Kong Disneyland and ratatouille in Paris, Disneyland but now the third Park is Shanghai Disneyland. Also has the Zootopia attraction which does have a trackless ride system as well.
Hi! I have a question about Disneyland Paris. Do you know if you get a specific timeslot for breakfast in a Disney Hotel or can you eat whenever you want? Thank you and greetings from Austria 😊
You don’t get timeslots in the hotel restaurants for breakfast, you just have to go down and if there’s a queue at that moment you join the queue :) The wait times are worse when the rope-droppers are eating.
Actually, Mystic Manor was NOT the "first trackless ride in any of the Disney parks worldwide" as you mentioned at the 5:24 mark. Pooh's Hunny Hunt opened at Tokyo Disneyland in 2000 - 13 years before Mystic Manor debuted at HKDL. But what's even more fascinating is that even Pooh's Hunny Hunt was preceded by Walt Disney World's version of Tower of Terror for pioneering trackless technology in 1994 by using Wi-Fi and RFID-based local positioning systems to guide the vehicles. This is exclusive only to the Orlando version of the attraction, which utilizes the trackless system when the elevator leaves the first shaft and travels horizontally forward to the drop tower. And before that, the Universe of Energy was EPCOT's opening day attraction that used the trackless system in 1982! The attraction has been replaced by Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. I'm a Disney parks nerd, so I couldn't help myself. Always loved your channel, Sam. You've been consistently informative and very articulate with your thorough and entertaining vlogs. Keep up the great work!
One thing as of October 2024, people who visited the puck in the past can now finally able to ride the Disneyland Railroad train after the completion of the construction of the world of frozen is, it was closed back then.
Great video as always, though im not sure what editing software you use but the rumbling coming through the microphone is very distracting. Not tryna be mean, just an editor for a living so I notice these things more than maybe most. First 30 seconds had a fair bit of rumbling and made me not wanna keep watching
Thanks :) Completely understand! Sadly this was a microphone issue, not editing software. I've tried my best to fix it in post, but the mic had problems. I'm trying different microphones at the moment, and clearly this wasn't the best x
@sam4god ah fair play, no offence is meant to be given, I know as an editor it annoys the editor/creator waaaaay more than the viewer. Great video, as always!
The HKDL version of Lion King Show is totally different from the one in WDW or DL Paris. It is a unique version among all Disneylands. Remember to watch it if you are there because it is so amazing🤩
Little correction - Mystic Manor is actually Disney's second fully trackless attraction - Pooh's Hunny Hunt was the first in Tokyo Disney :)
9:12 finally ...i feel the same...the puns get old 😊

Super helpful Sam, thankyou for all your top tips. did you spend any time in actual HK as well?
Thanks! :) I had a couple of days off camera in Hong Kong x
Hi! Thanks for this interesting video! Hope the same will follow for Shanghai. I'll be visiting both in 2025. 😊
Glad you enjoyed! Yes, there's a LOT to talk about re Shanghai Disneyland :)

You also have Duffy and Friends and World of Frozen AR features in the Hong Kong Disneyland App

@Sam4G0d thank you so much for the quick response. I appreciate it, and you give really great info!
Can I know how to book the “Meal+Momentus” premiere access please?
Hello. Just a quick question. Is there a lot of option for transportation after hours say after fireworks and closing times going back to monk kok?
You are correct, but it not only applies to the park tickets but also applies to annual passes that you do need to book your reservation for that day that you want to go to the park.
There’s another table service I think it’s called plaza inn
Hi, may i ask will they check your passport when we go to disneyland park or we just need to show our tickets/ e-tickets.
Hi Sam I know this is off topic but did you hear about the uk tour of and Juliet

40% of visitors of Hong Kong Disneyland are from mainland China so don’t think their behaviors are representative of the locals
