After 5+ years maybe I’ll never lose a duel again, thanks to you! This was amazing, never knew how much detail there was to it. I always trigger spammed and would get lucky.
One of the biggest problems I was having was that I was drawing early. You will lose every time if you draw too early. As long as you wait until 'Draw' finally shows up, and shoot their gun hand, you'll win every time.
Whats fucked is I started balling at dueling, killing every opponent I came across; then my fucking skills abandoned me and I fucking suck at duelling now!
@@lolcall5295 game gave you no real info. All it said is if you pull too early you are less accurate. That explains like 20% of the dueling. And clearly you never have dueled hard opponents.
When "draw" appears press LT(or L2 if you are in the playstation)this will make you take your revolver out of the holster, then use the RS(ot R3 if you are in PS) analog and use it to move the aim, aim at your target and start pressing RB(or R1 if you are in the playstation)to mark shots, when all its done, press RT(or R2 if you are in ps)to shoot, sorry for bad english, and sorry if you still cant make it, this is the way that works for me
@stevecadena Thats not the legend of the west outfit. Its the Duster outfit. The Legend of the West outfit has a black leather coat or something, while this is more sandish.
Great. What do you do to make the crosshairs "tight and white"? Are you doing something to make that happen, or just waiting for them to get that way on their own? This part of the game is absolutely maddening, the 'tutorial' doesn't explain it well at all.
Just don’t spam it. You wanna hold left trigger from the start, flick the right stick down to pull it out of the holster and aim for the head or the body is easiest. The crosshairs go white like every half second it just takes timing. Ik this comment is five years old but hey, if you ever hop back on the game and dk how, hopefully that helped.

Everytime I enter Chuparosa someone asks me for a duel and I get utterly destroyed. I think that gunslingers in Mexico are better than the ones on the American side of the map.
The worst part about doing a duel in this game is there’s no way to redo them. You have no idea how much I rage every time those fucking assholes kill me and it makes me want to get my revenge on them. Don’t get me wrong. I love this game as much as everyone else here. But damn there are so many times where I’ve legitimate raged at this game before. The people NPCs in this game are just assholes.

The early duels are easy. It's after you're well established in Mexico where they start getting difficult.

The crosshairs pulse automatically. Once they’re exactly how he explained it, it’ll work fine. He did a fine job on this video.
