@@KayosekaiZangief command grab range is better, but unfortunately he still has alot of startup frames on spd, not to mention after you spd it leaves you at such a great distance that you will constantly have to spend either drive meter or Ex meter to get some semblance of oki and corner pressure to stay closer. Zangief is going to be soo dependent Drive meter it's not gonna be funny. A smart Gief player is gonna have to utilize timely D.I, Some perfect parries, to get max punish counter damage off of SPD.
