Hi, yes this is common problem with this toy. In the same way that the doors might not pop out fully, if you try adjusting the spring on the underside of the door that tends to make the door sit higher if you push the spring in a bit. Hope that helps :)
HI,I know the solution to the weak spring of the doors. I mean that when I use my hand to move the two doors to the top position untill have no space to move them,I found that the door at the driver`s side is lower than the other one.
When you make your thunderhawk`s two doors at the top position, would you find that the door at the driver`s side is lower than the other one? I have 3 thunderhawk cars, all of them have the same questions.What about yours? Ah I see, in which case no my Thunderhawk did not appear have that problem. Alas I have sold all my MASK stuff since I did this review so can't double check.
How did you manage to conserve in such good state those incredible toys. Can't find a lot on ebay, or so expansive. I wish one day they will sell some new ones, instead of selling some TMNT or new Transformers.
I wish this and the others in my collection were the same ones I had as a kid, but they've been picked up on eBay and at toy shows over the years. But I agree a modern update of MASK is sorely needed!

Seems like Hasbro is taking a look at this old licence, it's what i read on a french site.
