I had the great fortune to meet Bernard this morning (29/06/22) - he’d just finished mowing some paths on Cley Marshes. I made the same mistake of asking him if he had lived here (in Cley) all his life! What a wonderful man and what an historic family, the Bishops. Thank you for promoting their work and this tradition.

Fantastic short film, Chris, of the legendary Bishop’s family doing an amazing work for the Cley marshes. 🙏🏻 This document will be a vibrant memory of North Norfolk beauty seen by many generations.

Lovely reeds...I've been using reeds off of Bernard many yrs. Rare to get a rough bundle.
