I would have gone down that slide too Jan! Loving your budget friendly accommodation and eateries but yes I think I would have changed the venue of dinner too if I'd seen what you'd seen. 💩 Looking forward to following this adventure, maybe another to add to our ever increasing list. 😃
Headhunting wasn't done only by the Iban and the Murut (pronounced as 'moo-root') but by many of the other Dayak ethnics of Borneo. Ice cream - pandan is screwpine (the southeast Asians' vanilla), gula apong is palm sugar made from the "apong" palm sap (as oppose to gula melaka which is made from coconut sap). 1602 beer is Sarawak beer and you can't find it in the peninsula. If you are interested, you can also give the local rice wine a try. They're sold at the museum's shop (small bottle) or you can ask at the pubs there is they have some.
Thank you so much, you coming to MALAYSIAN borneo in sarawak state. have a nice day to you all ❤

Let adventure Borneo Island.....the tallest flag pole in Malaysia and South East Asia...
Sarawak is full of national parks like niah, mulu, bako.
It's call BLACK BORNEO during the era of Spice Trade a few hundred years ago. Head hunting, cannibalism, black magic and ritual.
