Just another piece of advice about getting out of mud. Not that you had the issue you were on the frame of your truck but if your wheels are stuck you sometimes have to break suction so a bump pull is needed instead of the dead pull that you guys did in the video. But otherwise looks fun
Man that cleanup after is going to be fun.. hope you have a proper skid plate protecting the transmission cover.. these are exposed and can easily be damaged.. I made a full skid plate from the front cross member to the second one near the transfer case.
I've been through far worse than that with three different Subarus. 2005, 2011 were the best. Have been on a deep, much longer stretch of mud than that with my lifted 2016 Outback and Discovery tires but this one fishtails back and fourth more where the earlier generations would just squat down and pull straight on through.
Great vid. At least you had fun! I like the New Pro4-x but its basically a street truck with some Badging and stickers like most midsized "pro's". Lift it and regear
I’m new to the off roading scene, still learning the nuances, can’t say that you’re wrong. Definitely could have done some things different that would have put me in a better position. But getting stuck is no problem for me, not ever gonna have fun and learn if I don’t. I intentionally went into this hole slow to challenge the truck and test it’s limits.
I intentionally went into the hole slow to test the truck and it’s limits. Getting stuck allows me to use the recovery gear I bought so it’s almost a goal of mine to get stuck at least once on my off roading trips. I could have gunned it through and made it but I decided to enter slowly on purpose. Thanks for watching 👍
@@JohnnyRebLa lol that's funny! yeah it does look very Florida-like. There's 1700 acres of swamp / forests / beaches at this place. pretty sick honestly
@@ApexFrontier I'm from Louisiana and thought it looked a lot like here but too clean that's why I said Florida and then it clicked it was probably Texas.
I tried traction boards with the rear diff locked but I couldn’t get up on the boards. Could have dug with the shovel and got them in there, or if I had a high lift jack that could have lifted me up high enough to get them underneath the tires, but getting stuck is fun and it always teaches you something, I go out on these adventures not minding if I get stuck, kind of prefer it lol
Thanks it is beautiful! It’s not getting abused or trashed. It’s made to go off-roading! Off-roading is a great hobby. Maybe you should invest more time into fun hobbies and less time being a bitter whining hater 😁
Personal favorite section... @ 11:11

that makes sense, I didn't think about it that way. I appreciate the advice man! I accept advice happily! Thanks for watching !

@@Ashoud_Anobetah yeah I want to get full skid plate armor soon, p4x comes with some armor but it doesn’t cover everything
That looks super fun
It's become my favorite hobby by far! Video is in 360P right now but in a couple hours it will be available in 4k :)
Thanks for watching! Cheers!

nice video. I have a pro4x as well. what part of Texas are you located?
I’m in the South East, and nice dude! Always like meeting a fellow P4X owner!

4 wheel drive, locker, Dana read end. By that logic most midsize trucks are “street trucks with badges” then. 🤷♂️
Definitely had fun!
I wouldn’t quite agree with it being a “street truck with badging” but to each their own!
That truck is not stuck driver is stuck

Lack of driving skills that’s why they make all the extra gadgets on trucks now!
This is a good reason not to buy a used 4x4 never know how it is abused !!!
Can’t reply to your last comment? Just start new ones when you get shut up? Get a life
Is that salt water you're driving through?
Fresh water

Its not a D12 dozer.
Where you at, sure looks like the boot. If it isn't it's gotta be Florida or Texas.
South east coast of Texas!
@@ApexFrontierI just added Texas to my comment and your reply popped up.

you guy dont have the LONG BED available in usa ,,, too bad they are VERY pretty
Why didn't you use the locker up under some boards you would of easily went through with the back tires pushing you forward

Why would a FOOL spend 45k on a beautiful truck just to abuse and trash it???

Don't send a Nissan to do a Fords job
Lmao Ford? Ahh I needed a good laugh 😝
My Ranger Tremor would’ve made it.
@@mattlee4807so would my Nissan if I gunned it through but I entered the hole slowly on purpose to challenge the truck.
@@ApexFrontier I’m sure it would. I really like those new Frontiers. They did a great job.
@@mattlee4807 yeah I’m loving it so far! You liking your Ranger Raptor?
