Rawlings gave the NDC the false hope that they were saints and above the law. This was done when he found nothing wrong with leading NDC hoodlums to storm the courts to intimidate Judges when his corrupt former ministers were being tried in the courts during the Kuffour regime. If he were a true advocate fir probity and accountability, he should have known that, being appointed as a State Minister is a privilege position and any one so appointed must be personally responsibke for his or her actions or inactions. Unfortunately, Rawlings turned it into an NDC vrs NPP affair, which has degenerated to ugly levels we witness today. Rawlings revealed himself by that act as stabbing Ghana at the back by failing the neutrality test in fighting corruption. So NDC stood on this false foundation to misconduct themselves any time their corrupt acts are put to test. Rawlings, after subjecting various people to various forms of torture to squeeze information from them, failed his integrity test when he called for chemical intertogation for himself. He started well but ended sordidly. He lost the spirit of the 'revolution' he led himself.

But there is RTI bill is working so everyone can request information to every state institution. The judge did well by listening to the rest in camera. Gbovola was the head of state intelligence organisation and should know the laws that the Right To Information bill.
