What I love most about GOT7’s sound is that they don’t follow kpop trends, they always do that fits their group best regardless of what the rest of the industry is doing. I know you say kpop is a huge genre and you can’t say you dislike kpop but I do. 😂 GOT7 is genuinely the only group I love and give a crap about. To me, everyone else sounds the same or sounds like they’re trying to be something that already exists in the western music industry (no offence). No one in kpop has gotten me hooked like GOT7 has because there’s no one like them.
I’ve been a GOT7 stan since 2017 and YCMN blew my damn mind when it dropped too. Kpop has the tendency to just drop the beat and get loud (especially back in the day when YCMN came out) but this song does opposite. It’s restrained in the most perfect way and the build up of instruments later in the song is so perfect. That funk guitar?? 👌🔥 The vocals and choreo are absolutely insane too.

Yep same. You instantly feel and know it’s different when you hear them. Like it’s really rnb and not typical loud ass Kpop which is exactly why I love their songs. Only them Exo and Shinee are succeeding to me in really dinstinguishing themselves from other groups
@@sonia4313 lol we have different tastes in music. I love stray kids because they are loud, but I can also appreciate rnb like got7. Both groups are different to me than anything else out there and thats why I love both. Stray kids might not be your cup of tea, and thats totally okay! I think thats why I love kpop in general, there's so many different groups that sound different (at least with male group) that anyone could enjoy kpop. They just have to find the group they vibe with the most.
When I saw this, I thought of Jinyoung, who always wears stripes. Also on Weekly Idol, while the Got7 members were trying to dance at 2x the speed, Jinyoung's shoes were popping out of his feet. I still laugh when I remember. I miss seeing the Got7 members together because they were an extreme troll group...

These releases from 2013-19 period by 3rd gen k-pop are the reason why I don't want to move on to next gen... I mean, I never needed to listen any song 9-10 times to like it. Within 1st listen & watch you could tell that the instrumental, vocals, melodies, rap & choreo, everything are just perfect. Miss those days & GOT7.

I was never part of got7 fanbase (foolish of me) but their solo work is by far the best in all kpop ! You need to check out every single one of them oh my ! I’m shocked at how good they are! Btw Jackson Wang has his own label and even directed some of the clips!

Got7 as a group, their music and all are not your typical kpop group. As you can see Got7 is very talented in just 3 MV you've watched gives you different vibes but Got7 slayin all this Genres. GOT7 IS INDEED THE BEST!

GOT7 has a 7 different colors, but in the works they do as a group, they can transform these different colors into a single and very different color. This is why I love GOT7. They're more of a family than a group and it is felt in every way. Together they become one. They mostly write their own songs. The leader of the group, Jaebeom, wrote the title songs "You Are", "Eclipse", "Last Piece" by himself. Likewise, there are songs written by other members in the other albums. They're currently busy pursuing their solo activities. They terminated their 7-year contract with JYP ent. in 2021 and left the company. They later said that they would never leave as a group and would come back as GOT7. they were eventually received their legal rights, their right to a name. I can say that this is a first in the kpop industry. It's like they were born for music. So what they do is always the best. While the kpop industry is repeating each other, GOT7 is a group that never hesitates to produce new things. You definitely need to get to know them more. "Hard Carry" "Last Piece" "Poison" "Crash & Burn" you should definitely listen to these songs..

If you are liking title tracks this much then I can asure you their b-sides are gonna blow you mind like seriously. Their entire discography is just chef's kiss. They have covered almost all kind of genres but their music is mainly inclined to RnB rather than just "pop"

You really just hit the jackpot with got7 and especially with THESE BANGERS. You literally chose to react to one of the best and most popular got7 songs. Many people and reactors called You Calling My Name as song of the year of 2019 and I thought the same as soon as I heard it. This song from the beginning immediately grabs your attention and keeps it until the end. It's so sexy, smooth, classic, stylish, dark, mysterious, sensual but also groovy and funky that it makes you move even tho the song and lyrics are kinda dark and emotional which is why this song touches your heart at the same time. The same goes to If You Do but it also has sad and angry feelings mixed together. If You Do is one of the first got7's songs I've heard and it's still one of their best songs to me. Whenever I listen to this song it makes me feel so nostalgic. Also I think this kind of style is so refreshing and it really fits got7 especially. I wish they would do more songs like this. And of course lullaby is a total opposite of these two songs but it's very upbeat but also refreshing and doesn't sound trendy or just basic how some many other popular songs. Lullaby has interesting instrumental elements, melody and just vocals are shining here a lot. The choreo is also so fun this is why I prefer to watch got7's performances because you also get their perfect live vocals which are even better then in audio. I love that you used a word refreshing to describe their songs because I think this is the best word that describes got7, their music and even their performances, choreos, vocals and personalities overall. To me they're one of the most unique, authentic and just different groups and artists individually. I'm so glad that you're checking more of their stuff and this reaction made me so happy because I can see your excitement and love towards this group and that got7 is already in your top 10 favorite groups which is so amazing because this is only your second reaction to them and you literally don't know anything about them, so I appreciate that first you like them a lot because of their music. I have to tell you this that got7 is a really popular group internationally and they're known to many non kpop fans and to many kpop fans who are just casual listeners or don't even listen to them but just know them because of some few popular foreign members and because of their funny moments and personalities since got7 are really well known because of their variety skills. Even tho we ahgases (this is our fandom name igot7 which is pronounced ahgase in korean and means baby bird. This is why got7's lightstick has a shape of a bird and got7 uses birds our fandom in lots of their music videos and choreos too:)) also love got7 because of their personalities and how kind they are but the real ones will always appreciate and support got7's music and talents the most. And this was the biggest problem because many people never fully appreciated got7 as a serious artists but instead they always called them comedians and kings of variety. And until this day I still don't understand why many people never gave got7's music a chance. They would only know one or two their most popular songs and that's it. Well, they're definitely missing out because got7's bsides are on another level and I hope you will be getting even more deeply into got7, so that day when you will be checking out and listening to their albums will come as soon as possible because I can't imagine my life without got7's music. So thank you for being one of those rare people who appreciate got7 as good artists. This makes me respect you and your reactions even more since I've been watching your videos for a longer time and got7 is my all time favorite group. Of course I hope that after some music reactions you would also start to get into them more, watch their guides, varieties with them and their dance practices, performances because got7 has only a quality content and got7 just as people and artists are something special, rare and unique in kpop that you will never find again. Something that always makes me love GOT7 more and more is their lyrics - they don’t seem generic or unfelt, they feel like some personal experiences, thoughts or struggles and that’s what I want from a song. Especially if I get to know the background. And honestly, I’m so happy you read them and appreciate them. And in general, Got7 has usually really really good lyrics. Also if you want relatable lyrics definitely check out Verse 2 by JJ Project which consist of two members of Got7 - Jinyoung and Jay B, both of whom love reading and it shows. Every song from the album tells a story and speaks so much to me, leaving me emotional, no matter how many times I’ve heard some of them.

Jaebeom (Main vocalist) got very piercing clean voice, it is by far one of the most unique voice in kpop. It actually sound same without music
Youngjae (Second main vocalist ) Get very opera and full kind of voice, definitely one of these most strongest vocalist in whole kpop
Jinyoung (lead vocalist ) - he is the one who sang first chorus in YCMN. Literally a voice from heaven, you need to hear his falsetto
Yugyeom (lead vocalist ) - He sang second chorus in YCMN. Very pretty voice, something he use nasally and sometime he use deep voice
Jackson (Main Rapper ) - The on whose voice you like in kpop. He has got very unique and deep voice
Mark (Main rapper) - Another one with deep voice
Bambam (Lead rapper ) - He did rap on first verse of YCMN. Get very smooth vocals

GOT7 has a pretty wide discography and can pull off every genre so I hope you can dig deeper into them bc there's still a lot of bop music to listen to :) . All of them produces music but their leader jayb is the one who writes their title songs the most. I just wanted to mention their bsides cause those are a gem i'm telling you. It shows what their color is as a group because their bsides are usually released as it is, as what the members intended it to sound like without any changes however their title songs are often altered by the company to change it to the company's own preferences claiming that they know what GOT7 color should be which doesn't make sense cause the songs that they wanted to be changed are literally made by the members meaning it's the type of song the sevens wanted to release but whatever, that ex company of theirs is a complete trash, they restrained GOT7 so much .anyways, I would suggest to add POISON and TEENAGER on your list of songs to react to. pretty sure you'll love it based on the songs you've liked :)
