Words really cannot explain how incredible jimin is. In SO many ways. I am genuienly so proud of him with how far he has come. Makes me so emotional. He truly is the most amazing performer I have ever witnessed. This album is IMPECCABLE 🤌🏼🤌🏼
Jimin said this album was inspired heavily by the emotional impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Jimin as a person and performer, the album addresses "themes of loneliness, wrestling with oneself, and finding freedom". Its an amazing album you def need to listen to all the songs in order lol if you dig deep into the meaning of the lyrics you'll find out that its very deep and sad were you want to cry for him ...
♦Jimin mentioned that one of his fav movies “Like Crazy” inspired parts of the song aside from the title of song. In the beginning as well as ending to the song, he even samples excerpts from it. Jimin has also said that many of the songs on the album convey what he was going through, his thoughts, his feelings, his emotions as well as despair & depression, during the pandemic in the last few yrs. He also was hoping that many could help others by way of relating & going through similar difficulties during pandemic. So this song Like Crazy, could also be during that time, thinking back while laying his head down, on table in that depressing small room, dreaming of the better times in the past, when he was free to enjoy himself, as wel as being with someone or with friends, or even around ppl in general, being able to be free to go out & party. Which is why he even said in the lyrics please don’t wake me up from this dream. I want to stay here.. Maybe that was what all the dirty grimyness also represented, despair of situation, how he felt or how things were at that time, even when it seemed to even ooze into his dream state.

A right hand pulls him into the dream world and if you notice his right hand is covered in mud at the end. The next song on the EP 'Alone' talks about days repeating over and over again. I think he keeps pulling himself into the dream to run away from him problems and at it always ends the same way when is awake, he feels alone again.
Jimins talent is at another level. He wants you up and dancing because he loves dancing, his album is amazing. I dont want to push him but i want more albums asap.,iits been great to hear his beautiful voice because its been absent a lot in all their newer songs..when you see his mnet version of set me free and hear his adlibs...o my...where haveall those beautiful vocal ranges been all this time
The mud represents the stagnation he felt when he was isolated during COVID - he admitted that he drank a lot during this period and dreamed about performing and being with ARMY - the club scenes are all blurry because they are part of his dream. The mud flowed from the walls and filled the room - it was a really tough time for him and now his dream has come full circle - he is once again in the spotlight 💜 God I love JIMIN

There is also a ‘hidden’ song “The Letter” which can only be found on the physical album! But there is posted on YT a lyric vid for that as well. BTS has also in the past had hidden songs like “Sea” which just like Jimin’s song “The Letter” was written as a sincere, heartfelt, emotional, tender, caring song he gifted just to army, as a thank you. Jimin has said that this album is pretty much about how he felt the emotions, despair, loneliness, even depression he went through during the pandemic, which he wanted to share with us in hopes that we could relate to some of the lyrics to know that many have gone through similar inner thoughts, struggles and depression at one time or another, listening to this whole album which is made to feel like all in a haze, a dream stance, but then at the end with “Set Me Free Pt.2” it’s like he’s now free of those feelings, and not be held back by anyone or himself for that matter.
