I was one of the early sand boxers. I arrived in July and Im still here. While it may not be as convenient as it once was to pop into thailand for a week or two as a tourist for partying etc, for those who can stay longer and have interests beyond bars, I can tell you it is amazing here.
That's amazing, I would love to know how you stayed for this long as I am planning to come with my wife, is there a country that you left to after 2 or 3 months to renew your visa exemption?
Chris I’m a friend of Se from many years ago when he worked at Cape Panwa Hotel resort and I send him some running kit as he is a runner like myself ! Just as an update now go back again and see his new shop it is all finished and looks great 👍 He now has a Facebook page “ Coffee Talk” now ! Wow small world 🌎 to see my friend from many years ago thanks Chris 🙏🇹🇭🏴 Wow Chris you went back to see him again ! Fantastic and the shop looks great and nice to know that the money was a big help to Se to get things kicked off in his coffee shop ❤️

Environmentally, It's not just amazing for Phuket, it's amazing for many tourist destinations around the world, even Dolphins have been spotted swimming up khlongs (canals) in Venice. The difference is, I don't have to jump in and out of hoops to get to Venice or the Mediterranean so, like most, I'll give Thailand a miss for the time being.
I'll travel to Phuket in December 2021 and definitely want to visit Se brewing some coffee in Coffee Talk. What an amazing human, thank you for show us the people and local business from Thailand
Hello Chris, I finished the Phuket Sandbox a few days ago on 26 Sep... I went to Racha and Coral Island; if I had known I could have gone to the Khai Nok Island, I would have gone too. It is true that the local Phuket people are nice and are very welcoming. It is also a breath of fresh air to experience Phuket more than just the nightlife... Khun Se appears to be very energic and happy to have his own business. Great Vid...
i think Phuket can be charming if you know how to appreciate it. One side, you have the beach life and on the other is Old Phuket Town (local heritage shophouses) If it's good enough for DJ Goldie (the legendary drum & bass DJ who has lived in Phuket for many years), then it should be good enough for everyone else to visit and not just think of Phuket as Patong.
I travel to north of Thailand a week ago and just realize how many beautiful temple there i could not have a chance to get these experiences before cause these place always full of tourist the architecture are so amazing and i can freely and peacefully experience all of them

Less? The new rules and regulations around the world are here to stay. Governments want full tracking of all people and the only way is to demand a stack of documents with all of your information. For once I am happy that I am old and got to travel a free world unlike now.

Environmentally, It's not just amazing for Phuket, it's amazing for many tourist destinations around the world, even Dolphins have been spotted swimming up khlongs (canals) in Venice. The difference is, I don't have to jump in and out of hoops to get to Venice or the Mediterranean so, like most, I'll give Thailand a miss for the time being.
I'll travel to Phuket in December 2021 and definitely want to visit Se brewing some coffee in Coffee Talk. What an amazing human, thank you for show us the people and local business from Thailand

Hello Chris, I finished the Phuket Sandbox a few days ago on 26 Sep... I went to Racha and Coral Island; if I had known I could have gone to the Khai Nok Island, I would have gone too. It is true that the local Phuket people are nice and are very welcoming. It is also a breath of fresh air to experience Phuket more than just the nightlife... Khun Se appears to be very energic and happy to have his own business. Great Vid...

i think Phuket can be charming if you know how to appreciate it. One side, you have the beach life and on the other is Old Phuket Town (local heritage shophouses) If it's good enough for DJ Goldie (the legendary drum & bass DJ who has lived in Phuket for many years), then it should be good enough for everyone else to visit and not just think of Phuket as Patong.

I travel to north of Thailand a week ago and just realize how many beautiful temple there i could not have a chance to get these experiences before cause these place always full of tourist the architecture are so amazing and i can freely and peacefully experience all of them

Love to visit Phuket but it's too much hassle to get all the documents. Have to wait till the bureaucratic documents are way less before flying again.
Less? The new rules and regulations around the world are here to stay. Governments want full tracking of all people and the only way is to demand a stack of documents with all of your information. For once I am happy that I am old and got to travel a free world unlike now.
I'll be wearing my flip flops as soon as I can. Would love to be there now. I agree, if you can go now, do it, you'll experience Thailand like it was in the 70's. For me now, I'll just live vicariously through you till I arrive then I'll be living life for myself. 🧘🏻❤️☮️
