    Cheers for everyone's comments but please stop telling me how shit my record player is like I don't already know lmao. It was what I could afford at the time and I'm not buying a new one anytime soon cause I just don't have the money. For now, I'm just not playing my records cause I don't wanna fuck them up and one day I'll get a better record player, okay? cool. Thanks for watching the video :)

    My brother and sister have all the original David Bowie records, and Queen records. They also have all my Mom's Beatles records, she bought back in the 50s when she was a teenager. Cool to have your parents records.

    This is just a friendly heads up, get rid of those new Crosley record players. They will kill your collection. If you want a good one look for a turntable made late 70 to mid 80’s. Or purchase a new high end turntable. 🙂.

    I have a Crosley Cruiser connected to a LG sound bar with a subwoofer and it sounds wonderful. I’ve got no complaints 😎🍷🍕❤️

    I have that original Michael Jackson Thriller record....my mother got it for me when I was a kid when it came out. I remember walking into the mall, and this store had a wall of the Thriller record and people were buying them like crazy. They were playing his music videos.

    The thing about ditching the Crossley is that you can't just buy a better record deck, you also need an amp with a record input and speakers. You're probably looking at £300 minimum for the complete setup...unless you're prepared to look at used gear (which is often a good option).

    Nice to see some familiar faces in your collection, Nevermind, Hot Fuss, Ziggy, Songs from the Big Chair, Rumours, etc. Like yourself, I only buy an album if it's one I really like.

      Yeah I wouldn't buy an album unless I'd listened to it to death on Spotify first and really knew I loved it

    Dear Hannah, First of all congratulations with your collection. I only wonder : Does Crosley pay you for this ? Almost every "my record collection" video shows a Crosley. You don't have to listen to me but : Crosley's are not record players, they are sewing machines!

    • @hannahelzbeth
      @hannahelzbeth  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No Crosley didn’t pay me for this :) I’m just one of those idiots that bought into the trend when these were ‘all the rage’ a few years ago. It was an affordable choice at the time and in hindsight, I should’ve saved up for something more substantial. I barely play records anymore as they jump a lot and I’m scared they’ll get ruined! Hopefully one day I’ll get a decent one!

      Hannah Elizabeth There's an Urban Outfitters in Norfolk on Granby street but they don't have the one I want sold in the store it'd be great if they did so I can just order it for pick up there and get it but I don't mind paying for the shipping to have it delivered to my address

      Laura Corbett i hear a bunch of rumors of Crosley’s warping a vinyl/destroying the needle. I haven’t witnessed it personally or firsthand but i’d definitely go over reviews and read over the rumors just in case to take pre-caution.

    I haven't read any comments but knowing the toxicity of the vinyl community is probably filled with "friendly reminders" that Crosleys suck and that you should upgrade and yada yada, truth is, it won't render your records unplayable, it will wear them out slightly quicker creating more surface noise and crackles and pops, that's it...
    These snob audiophiles often forget that not everyone has the money to afford a 120 turntable, plus a pre amp, an amplifier and speakers and that vinyl is rising again because of the so called crappy Crosleys
    Wow I really got tilted here hahaha

    Great Record player you got there next Friday when I get paid I'm gonna get a Visa card so I can order a record player online for myself. The one I'm getting is a Victrola suitcase record player and it's lavender and it's sold on EBay and it's $56.99
