Still the only company that I have ever bought a bow from sight unseen and they were flat out shooters. The lifetime transferable warranty can not be beat either.
I've had a couple of Athens, both were wonderful. Miss my Vista 35, should have never let it go. Would love a new one but the price is a little high (especially here in Australia). Great video!!
Thanks Brandon!! Fantastic review as always Athens is a phenomenal company and the bows they are building are nothing short of amazing!!! Keep the great reviews coming!!!
I Love fusion finishes on a bow!! I hope prime developed this cam technology with rotating mods and adjustable let off. I believe Athens with the cross cables add stability and balance to the bow. I hope Athens don't have any clearance problems on their cams and cables of this design
Love the review as always. And I completely agree with you about hunting and where to aim! Too many guys on here can't understand that concept!!! It's nice finally hearing someone with common sense that knows they're stuff. But anyways, Athens is insanely underrated! Ive owned the Ridge 34 and Vista 33. Their draw cycles are smooth and just comfortable shooting bows. But yeah, Thank you for another awesome video brother!
I have been watching two videos on bows to help me decide which one I want to test this year. MFJJ for the more technical aspects then you for the more in depth video on how the thing shoots. Yours are the ones I look forward too.
I’m so disappointed that they aren’t going to be here anymore. The Axxis 35 is the first bow I bought based on reviews alone without shooting it before hand. Couldn’t be happier with it.
Love the videos, will you test the bows at shorter draw, like 27 or 27.5 or 28 with a 3d arrow 350 gr and hunting arrow 450 gr and ranch fairy arrow 550 gr or more. Some cams just perform better and feel better at short draw cycles
I agree I'd like to see a 350grain arrow shot. Rip xv is capable but I think he'd have to build it with a 350 spine or find a lighter nock/fletching for a 300 spine.
@@tsi-rocket4144 31” 300 spine 7.1 gpi, 21gr insert, 8gr nock, 8.5gr aae hybrid 26 and 75gr point. 349.6gr total. You’d have to weigh everything before you build but you should be able to get really close to 350 because of manufacturers variance
If you kept that bow and called Athens to tell them you'll be making installments, I'm pretty sure they would do that. So, why bother wasting money shipping that bow back to them when you're going to get one anyway? I love Athens bows and really wanted their Vista 31 last year, but it was way out of my budget, so I opted to get a Bear Whitetail Maxx before Christmas. Then, Christmas came around and I got a handsome bonus. Decisions, decisions. I love the Whitetail Maxx so much, and the price was so right, I went and ordered the Alaskan XT. I tell ya, for the price of 1 Athens bow, I was able to get 2 Bear bows. Hell, I got my Whitetail Maxx set up with Trophy Ridge's Hotwire 3-pin sight, Sync rest, Stabilizer kit, and wrist sling for under $1000 total. Who knows, there may be room for an Athens in my future. Time will tell.

Love that you're not backed by 1 bow company keeps things honest. Thanks
Favorite bow reviewer, hands down!
I look forward to every single one of these reviews.
Appreciate the loyal follow
This and the new dartons have my interest this year!

I’ve been interested in Athens for a few years. Maybe this is the year I give one a try. I enjoy your content brother!
Prime sent my bow to the door no tax no shipping lifetime strings 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Did you still have to order through a dealer?

Dude you are the best reviewing all these bows. Keep up the good work!
Appreciate it we work hard to get them all to u guys
I’m can’t wait to get my Axxis 35 in
Love my Athens Ridge 34 and now with the accu-tune on the Axxis I am seriously looking at picking one up. Thanks for the great in depth review !
Thanks for the reviews on Athens! Wish I had a dealer closer. When will you have more merchandise on your website?
We are working on more hats now
Absolutely great review!! Love how you go through the process of all your reviews. Keep up the good work!!
You have my attention...

Glad you're back! Love the review!
Awesome review as usual!!
I would love to get my hands on an Athens and give it a test drive.

Bought the same one day after they closed there doors
@@BackyardBows ironically I can compare it closest to my SS34. I can just shoot and shoot all day if I want to.
Nice review! I got the axxis 31 in all black deadly bow!

When will you be doing a Darton review?
The only thing I’d like to see a “keep them honest arrow” 350gr. A rip XV should make that pretty easy to build. Thanks for another great video

Bowtech sued and shut down athens. Cam lock technology was to similar. Major bummer to anyone who bought one.... warranty voided... it's the shits
R.i.P Athens dang!…

14:49 Brandon, whos the dealer? Itll be my closet dealer too. Havent seen it listed anywhere yet.

Darton ships directly too. Probably Obession too
Thanks for the comment good to know
@@BackyardBowsxpedition does as well. They'll also do a baseline tune if you buy accessories. Great reviews man!
Martin ships directly too
Ordered a new elite through pure whitetail. Shipping to me from elite.
Please do a video on the booster inspire 32 rts.
if PSE and Bowtech had a baby 😎
Dam 🤔 lol
😂 pse's baby would be faster than that.

they got the Bowtech speed gene 😂
That arrow rest you are using looks really robust. Maybe you can talk about it or give a review.
AAE prophecy rest one of my favorites
Someone at Athens went to bowtech and said can we rent your deadlock system 😂😂. Another great review on a good bow
😂
Darton Consequence next
Should be in next week
Too bad Athens ripped off Bowtech and now has to close their doors because they really planned to fail with the choices they made.
That’s one way to look at it
@@BackyardBowsCan’t they go back to the old tech prior to the Accu-Tune cam system, and stay in business?
@@phantomcruizer I’ll upload a video on what happen or what I believe happen soon
Elite used to have the life time transferable warranty til the got bought by the outdoor group 😂😂😂 over priced garbage
Changing the warranty makes them overpriced garbage? That's dumb.
@@WolfinWolvesClothing713 no outdoor group makes them over priced garbage 👍😁😂😂😂🤣
Meh...
