Nice teaching 👏 though scripturally (Matt 19:9) infidelity is a ground, infact the only ground for divorce. Jesus condemned anybody that divorces their partner EXCEPT on cases of adultery (all kinds of sexual immortality outside the marriage)

I really wish Pastor and his wife can truly help me wrap my head around this issue concerning domestic violence in marriage. I mean, I need an understanding as to why a person should remain in such marriage. Why do Pastors advise women or men being abused in marriages to remain in such places. I still don’t understand the concept behind this believe ooo. Marriage is of God and it’s great, but should one die all in the name of marriage? .. So pastor says they can council the couples, but what if it doesn’t work. What about emotional abuse ? .. I mean we can say, oh you should have known who you married, but that also mean the person should be punished for not knowing or perhaps choosing wrongly. Is marriage a do or die affair please? This thing baffles me and I wish I can gain clarity on this matter ..thank you
I believe that God is not partial and I don’t think He would want us to remain in an abusive situation. Abuse is bad no matter what sort so let God direct your decision.
If your partner cheated and contracted an STD, why should you stay and contract it from him? That’s foolishness.

The number6 question, about not liking the family of the Lady,
what if there is a reason for not liking the family, for example: let say they are fetish, asking the man to come around for one sacrifice or the other, to check if they are really compatible and so on, the family do not know Christ but fine the lady herself is already in Christ. So in such situation, who should we advice to leave the relationship the lady or the man who is been accused of not liking the lady’s family.
I believe there has to be more to why he is not liking them
