Sigourney played 14 years old Kiri’s character so well that I did not know it was played by a 73 years old. I was convinced the character was played by a teenager before I found out.
I know right. I always they had the CGI face effect to show thats she's Grace's daughter, I didn't think it was actually Sigourney Weaver herself playing as Kiri

My biggest wish was that Sigourney is also in this movie. I was hopings as herself, as I liked her character in the previous movie.

I have a theory, Kiri is actually Dr. Grace herself given by Eywa.
Since her human body was too weak due to her injury, Eywa could not transfer her into her avatar, Eywa to transfer Grace through birth, and that gave Kiri.
When she asked who her father was, Eywa didn't want to show her that's why she had a fit.
I actually wrote the same thing a week ago on some other video. I believe this too.

I just thought that since Eywa couldn't bring life into Grace herself but life inside her meaning a baby

love her performance, but its kind of awkward for the much younger male actors who have to do romantic scenes with her

Sigourney Weaver as Best Actress in "Avatar" is the *only* Oscar nomination I want to see this year. She had to hold her breath and swim underwater alongside people a *fraction* of her age for that movie.
Weaver is the best actress ever. Her performance in this film finally convinced me. She played a younger version of herself flawlessly. I hope she gets nominated for her performance. She deserves an oscar.
I'm more amazed to know that Sam Worthington is Australian. His American accent is so good that I thought he was actually American

Sigourney made James promise they wouldn't make Kiri and Spider romantic, so I guess he doesn't have to worry about kissing a women that could be his grandmother. I'm envious, I would love to work with sigourney.

I'm amazed that what I'm seeing on screen is only Sigourney's acting mixed with amazing artist to create what we see as Kiri.

Sigourney is beautiful as an avatar, but she’s also beautiful as a human
I've been in love with her since 1979, and from very early on knew she was one of the true greats. Nothing she's done in her career has done anything to diminish that -- she just keeps getting more magical. My respect for her craft and admiration for her work for many causes is sincere and eternal. And yes... I'd still run away with her if she asked. :)
Nunca me gusto la actriz Sigourney Weaver, quizas porque quede traumatizado con la pelicula Alien. Pero en esta pelicula Avatar 2, el personaje de Kiri es la mas expresiva de todo el elenco, con expresiones corporales con mucha riqueza escenica. Yo queria saber quien era la actriz detras de la niña. Me imaginaba k era Sigourney, pero pense k alguien mas habia enriquecido el personaje. Me doy cuenta la grande actriz k es, al dia con las conductas adolescentes. Precioso trabajo. Me enamore de este personaje muy real. Yo tambien me siento raro en este mundo de tantas ideologias.

well, I for one enjoyed it a lot. I absolutely cried on the first movie, because I am a biologist watching humanity destroy the planet every year, so the movie resonated with me in a deep personal level. And I think thats all that matters. There's literally no movie that everyone enjoys. Heck, I have a friend that fell asleep watching LoTR in the movie theaters! So its ok if you dont like it. Just be aware that many people do and if they take something good from it, then we shouldnt criticize them for enjoying it.
