Governor to have a close watch on the case of an attack on Shiv Sena Leader | Connect Newsroom

The episode begins with a thorough examination of the Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit's recent statement in which he asserted that he will monitor the probe into Shiv Sena leader Sandeep Thapar's attack case. The Governor met Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal and Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney. Manpreet talks about how the Punjab Governor has been interfering in Punjab's subjects however, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who also holds the home portfolio has failed to take the lead on the issue. There have been several instances, in which the governor kept interfering in Punjab matters.
In the next segment, Manpreet sheds light on how the Aam Aadmi Party government has failed to procure Moong Dal Crop on Minimum Support Price this year too. Despite this fact, it was Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, who motivated the Punjab farmers to sow Moong crops under the crop diversification programme, he failed to ensure procurement of the crop at MSP. Over 99 percent of the purchase has been made at rates below the minimum support price of Rs 8,555 per quintal (announced by the Centre). Private players are purchasing moong at Rs 7,800- 8,000 per quintal.
Manpreet further speaks about the Agniveer scheme of the BJP-led Union Government. In less than a year, since the scheme was launched, as many as 20 Angiveers have died. However, they have not been given the status of martyrs.
In the end, Manpreet talks about the study conducted by the MSME Export Promotion Council and Confederation of Organic Food Producers and Marketing Agencies in the state that claimed that the investment had fallen from Rs 23,655 crore in 2021-2022 to only Rs 3,492 crore in 2022-2023. This is considered to be the biggest failure of the AAP government in Punjab.

ਕੀ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਪੈਨਿਸ਼ ਜੋੜੇ ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੈਣ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਏ। ਤੇ ਸਿਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਪਤਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ। ਫਿਰਕੂ ਬੀਜੇਪੀ ਦੇ ਚਮਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹੀ ਆਸ਼ ਰਖੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
