- Hey guys it'sa me, Tiago the french inline skater and today I'll be using my new skates, the Roces M12, and have a little test with the Pragmatic frames!

I actually am fond of lighter colour skates Tiago. I would like to point out to you a little some-what-quote from air gear, a beloved manga that drove us to do inline. Remember when Bucha pointed out to Ikki and the gang a damaged metal pillar before the match between Agito and the Bulls? That damage was caused by a person (or persons) practicing a trick over and over till it became a physical memory cut into the metal. That what I think of white skates. They show the time, blood and effort you put into it with all the stains, scratches and marks. Of course I also clean what I can but I don’t mind if marks show on my skates. They are testament to what I’ve done and the time I’ve put.
Lol that awkward flute sound is the funniest thing ever. This needs to be the official fail sound everywhere

Pro tip though - A pencil eraser removes wax from plastic if you want to keep your skates looking fresh. Just don't take the wax off your soul plate.

nah it doesn't dirty. You wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Hard shell man. This video came up when I tried to search for vintage aggressive skating. Do you know where I can find some??? Like I watched the first skateboarding video ever made, saw some of the first footage ever shot for skateboarding. When skaters first emerged from the ocean to surf the land. Really. Do you know where I can find some for rollerblade???????????
You did great. The only advice I could give would be to bend your knees more when you jump and grind. The lower you are, the easier it will be to hold the grind position you are trying to do.
I picked up aggressive inline about 9 months ago and I can't get enough of it. I just started doing 360s in quarter pipes and they feel so fun! I don't have many grinds yet (scared of acid and pornstar), but I have so much fun every time I go and that's what it's really about anyway. Keep it up man!
I'm currently relearning the basics of inline skating after about 8 to 10 years without skating because you inspired me to try aggressive skating. Do you have any tips for transitioning from freestyle/fitness to aggressive skating?
Don't. Unless you enjoy people laughing at you no matter how good you are
Go to a skatepark with your freestyle skates. It's fun just to cruise around the skatepark. You only need aggressive-skates if you want to try grinding. Have fun!
You will find most aggressive skaters are pretty friendly. look for a group on fb and ask if you can join them next time they go to a skatepark. they will give you some pointers and after that its all up to you
WOOP WOOP! Been looking to get back into it myself. Haven't skated for about 20 years now. I miss the old days. Before Aggressive Inline got pushed out by all the Boarders and Bikers haha.
@@magnumxlpi nah most parks are pretty friendly to bladers these days. I skateboard but We're all there to have fun. Its the scooter kids that dont understand the unwritten rules of the skate park every hates. Yall are fine.

I am with you..should support the wizard frames. They are really unique with the feeling, skating and also the sound. there are solid but also very smouth and maneuverable. If you used to it, you will enjoy it!
Bonjour Tiago! I just wanted to say You inspired me to learn how to skate. My story is I was bought inline skates for my 7th birthday. But for my 8th birthday I got a nintendo and a wheel chair. Now i'm 27 and have been skating just over 2 months with my Seba FRX 80s.
I found a club to practice with where the club is run by an old school 80s roller dancer and a couple of Speed skaters who competed at worlds.

The 'new' M12s look so good. They look cool with the pragmatic frames and the kangaroo wheels. I love wheels with the hub the same colour as the PU, like these ones.
I don't know, how I missed this video, but here I am. For their costs, the ROCES are a great deal. Switching the prag's frames was a cool idea. Keep on blading.

i used to do aggressive 24 years ago then stopped. ive started skating again after this 24 year gap........and its def NOT a case of just picking it back up.
ive gotta do all the basics of skating in general because my core balance isnt the same. i mean im probably picking it up quicker than someone thats never skated but its def been eye opening.
100% fun tho as long as i dont fall into the trap of measuring my current progress by what i used to be able to do -if i do that, its just depressing lol.

Hey what size are your wheels when you wear free style skates. Im trying to learn how to balance on one skate. Do you recommend small or large wheels for beginner. Im currently using 80mm 85A

Urban skater vs grind rail episode 2
Dude I'm EXACTLY this shit. Like I look great when moving around doing spins and fancy footwork. But ask me to grind in any capacity, and all of the sudden I look like i've never skated. It's weird because the grinds I learned in skateboarding weren't nearly as hard to learn. (50/50, 5-0, nose grind, board slide, nose slide)
I'm going to get those, are they any good for cruising?

Just a little tip for you to consider, try to skate m12 more on the looser side -not fastened so tight. It's much easier to grind when you have more flex going on.

I wear size 10-10.5 for all shoes. I measure at 273mm which equals size 10 on Roces chart. I’ve read everywhere these run small though.. Can anyone confirm?

What's the difference between aggressive skates and the ones he normally uses?
Nate Gordon aggressive is for doing grinds st skateparks, while freestyle skates are lighter and are made to do ground tricks ( like going through cones) more effectively.

Humberto Valdés That depends entirely on the kind of skating you want to do. The Roces skates in this vid or Razer Cults are probably the most popular entry-level aggressive skates out there. I like K2's urban skates, I use Unnatural boots with Kizer Trimax frames.
