Good luck with it, great machine. Hopefully you won’t have to order any parts, been waiting 5 months for a broken wedge replacement. Thinking I should have looked more closer at the Easton machines

Really what wedge are you waiting for? If your a member of real firewood sellers or firewood processors and commercial splitters try getting ahold of Chris halloway he is a dealer for Timberwolf. Also when was the last time you got an eta for it?

I first called in Sept. followed up in December and January. I was told on 8Feb22 that I would have it within a month. I’m waiting for the box wedge that broke after 20 hours of usage.

@@sgmbusarmyret3248 I would try some of the firewood communities on Facebook there are dealers on there that might be able to help you out.

My local dealer dose not stock the wedges and there isn’t a dealer that is close. Yes it is a bummer. The machine is truly a beast, but the company may need better welders.

still loving this machine? I am looking at getting one. I have a tree removal business and this looks like it makes sense dealing this big knotty rounds.....

Well my partner that I was working sold it and he now runs wolf ridge. There was a few issues that I can’t remember that he didn’t like but I will say if you’re doing pretty big stuff this is definitely a good option. It does make a lot and I mean a lot of waste. We no longer work together. I am looking at wolf ridges box wedge machine. The fit and finish, along with overall performance of their equipment is second to none. Check them out.

I think the splitter is designed to go backwards as the splits mount up on the ground. You have it chocked by accident at first but I see it trying to go back.

Yeah it does slide back it may have been chocked to begin the ground is super uneven at this location. He have a conveyor coming at some point so we won’t have to worry about making long wind rows of wood. That can’t come soon enough.

That's a nice machine. I'm planning on on myself. How much should I be looking to spend for that same machine. Be blessed and stay safe

With all the options it’s about $17,000. We have the 4.5 box wedge,4 way for really knotty wood, and a 6 way 5 inch cylinder for the max tonnage and the table great. It will produce 1.5 to 2 full cord an hour if you have a guy running it and a guy feeding it. But plan on having as much wood ready because it flies through the wood.

@@saratogafirewood we use high end HD grease. The same stuff you run on big equipment. My partner checked all the bolts. It may have been the pull back arm rattling on the top of the box wedge. Or in the tube it goes in.
