Omg that’s unreal this will be the nicest camper ever. Will be better finished than an oem one. ❤
Hopefully 😁👍
Ceiling looks brilliant, I'm getting some great ideas from your creativity
Nice one 👍
Takes a good man to own up to his mistakes awesome build, you’ve got a good head for design
Thanks 👍
Yes ! I looked at them 😮
Just WOW.. Man that is cool, those black jointing trims actually worked out to your advantage. They border those two wood colours beautifully it's like what Bob Ross would have said a "happy accident".. I've been slogging it out in my build all day in the relay, insulating & battens up for my ply next. Sat down to a beer & seen you had posted a video 😁 you are an inspiration lad I tell thee...
lol yep. Cheers. Once the batten bit is done the builds get much more interesting
Liking the oak slatted ceiling, especially after you oiled it.
Yeah made a much nicer colour. 😁
Stunning stunning van. Credit to you.
Thankyou. Hopefully it continues through the build
Loving the ceiling design, contemporary and taseful to match the interior colour scheme.
Thanks. I think it turned out quite well. And a little different to the others out there.
Thought it would be difficult to outgun your last vw camper, which was superb... but this, is looking just as good...👍👍
This will be awesome when it’s done. I’ll change the graphics later too.
Wow Lee! You really need to change the name to Glamper! That looks luxurious, magnificent job.
lol the boxer glamper 😁
Lookin great spyder ,as usual .Champion job .
Thanks 👍
You make it look so easy
It definitely wasn’t 😂
Awesome job 👌 used exactly the same panels on my van, like u say not cheap but look fantastic
Yeah they aren’t too bad are they.
Very nicely done! what I would have done differently would have been to mount black aluminum profiles, mechanically fixed with screws, and then double tape the the led strips. Just google black led aluminum profiles, you'll know what I meant.
Hi. Yeah I have the profiles for under the cupboards. No good here though as the gaps between the slats are only 12mm wide. All the profiles seem to be minimum 16mm
Tremendous result Lee! Such planning needed to create the roof design, contrasting colours, building in lighting even oiling for durability as well as looks! How did you fasten the panel withing the overhead storage? Enjoyed your honesty too about the grey panel cut, I did say to wife that it looked odd, anyone else would have deleted the footage. Thank you and look forward to the next chapter. 👍
It was a bit of a squeeze getting a drill in to fasten in the storage. Had a small cordless drill that just fit.
Great ceiling never thought you would line up the panels given all the angle but looks mint with the trim was meant to be, Great build.
Yes looks better with the trim. Glad I had to cover the gap.
That's very creative, like it
Thank you very much
Looking smart
Thanks ☺️
Cracking job there fella. Really well done and coming together nicely.
Thank you! Cheers!
Where did you get led light strips from please, loving the build
Looks awesome 😎
Thanks ☺️
That ceiling👌👌👌👌👌
😁
Enjoyed the video lee, cracking job looks class that does.
Glad you enjoyed it
I think that’s what you call a happy accident! Looks fab!
Cheers. Yes worked out for the best.
The vans looking class. Would love to know how many hours you put into it, you seem to be steaming through the build.
I’ve put quite a few in so far. Most weekend and most evenings after work. Had a break the last few weeks before I burnt out.
Nice looks good 👍
Thanks 👍
Love the ceiling buddy amazing. This is the stuff I have to put up. B and q acoustic panel with a felt back . Question is it easy to cut through with a track saw, thinking of it grabbing the felt 😂😢
I used a plunge saw on mine on a track and it cut through perfectly fine. Just make sure the blade is up to speed before you go in. 👍
Thanks mate , I have a plunge saw so I'll g8ve it a go , thanks again mateand picked up a few ideas from your build . 👍
Looks great Lee, really nice job! Where did you get the slatted panels from please?
They are from b&q
What brand oak boards / panels did you buy ! Very neat job !
They were from b@q. Not sure they even sell these now. Not the best to be honest but ok. £94 a panel if I remember correctly
Whats your watch on your wrist? 😅
That one is a 16610 submariner
