Thanks, Mike for the clear and concise demo. I am wondering though: for someone who only has AH:LCG, does Arkham Horror offer enough variety in gameplay, if not theme?
You get some variety here, more than probably the core set of Arkham LCG. A whole CYCLE of the LCG has more gameplay in it, but that’s not a fair comparison since that costs a good $100 or more than Arkham 3rd
Does it makes sense that monsters are cards instead of small cardboard tokens? It sure didn't make the price lower even though you think it's cheaper to produce.
I prefer the cards. Much easier to randomize. Also, since the scenarios call for specific sets of monsters, it would be a nightmare to dig through tons of tokens in a bag.
You keep saying you can tell if its a clue card by the numbers in the corner, of 8 being a regular encounter card and of 24 being a clue card. Don't the clue cards have a big magnifying glass in the upper left to tell you they are a clue card? Am I missing something? Very possible since I don't have the game yet. Enjoying the playthough, I really want to like this version. I love Eldritch horror but never got into Arkham since I found it too dense and clunky this looks like it streamlines the game (for now it is Fantasy Flight after all :) ).
You're a great teacher with these games. I very much appreciate it. AH 3rd edition is a lot of fun as well. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much. I’m enjoying the game a lot!
Really good. I do enjoy your teaching style (your Deep Madness series was excellent). Thanks for this.
Thanks so much! This is similar to how I teach games to my friends and family :)
Monsters! You could use some gear.
Doom! One dollar a space?!? Cab drivers are expensive.
Rock on man, thanks for the play through.
Watch part 2. I show the monsters who’s boss in a big way 😎

Love this game! A perfect compliment to the LCG in my opinion. :)
I was pleasantly surprised by the connections!
I'm curious to see if true solo is harder or easier than multi character playthroughs on TH-cam.
5 damage on the first turn is ROUGH.
Don’t worry too much. My turn to dish out some damage is coming soon...
I did this one last night and won!
Kevin Shaw well done!

Man, I feel dumb for missing that... :)
