Kayla is beautiful, and Taylor isn't? I don't think so. Plus Taylor is a kind, thoughtful creative generous person. Every picture I've seen of Kayla has her sticking her butt out and making "pouty" lips. She's always posing and taking photos of herself. She seems very superficial and self-centered. Her five-year, on-and-off relationship with Travis never went anywhere near an engagement or a proposal. Kayla chased Travis; Travis pursued Taylor. Sorry Kayla, you were nothing but a place-holder until the right one came along!

Taylor is pretty and smart
After 5 years of on and off Kayla and Travis broke it off over a year before he began dating Taylor Swift. So, it is not like she was thrown over or they just broke up and he found someone else right away. He had over a year to talk about trying to get back together and work it out and he did not.
One thing I disagree is you said Kayla was prettier than Taylor. Maybe I don't see this as I am a woman but, I think both women are extremely beautiful. Kayla has that somewhat sophisticated look to her and Taylor is the girl next door look. But, neither makes one more beautiful.
After 5 years and Kayla making it very well known that she wants a ring on it, the ring never came. Instead they broke up for good. I don't believe the rumors of him making her pay for half on dates and he cheated. This is just vicious gossip that even Kayla has said is not true. But, I doubt he picked up, especially just because, little gifts and pretties for her. Like an expensive bracelet, designer clothing, flowers, etc. I think he only got her gifts if it was birthday or Christmas. I don't think it was to be mean. He just did not think of it as she probably was not on his mind much.
Travis Kelce has gone way out of his way to show love for Taylor. He made a last minute run to Dublin to show up at her show - something she was not expecting. He has lavished tens of thousands of dollars on designer clothes and accessories, forever roses in boxes of 50 to 100. The finest Macrons. Custom made jewelry. He sees her as a princess to be adored. He holds her hand or wraps his arms around her. He opens doors and does the whole gentleman thing for her. He even made promises to her parents to always protect her. He appointed himself bodyguard and watches over her. It is obvious that Taylor is very precious to him. If Taylor dumped him I think Travis Kelce would crash and burn.
Taylor would be a fool if she did dump him because there are women lining up to take her place.
