I watched Dororo this summer and ahh the setting really reminded me of Inuyasha. I loved the relationship between the main characters!! One of my favourites this year
I'm currently collecting the mangas for Noragami, Snow White with the Red Hair and Yona of the Dawn. And Dororo was an awesome anime and I didn't even notice the change in the animation I was to interested in the story lol
I remember when demon slayer came out last year, I had a gut feeling an Inuyasha reboot or spin off was coming. But Dororo is a must watch just finished it last month even tho the ending for me was MEHHHH. Romeo x Juliet is my second favourite anime, only surpassed by Inuyasha! I have the anime on DVD, the manga and the artbook and i put the anime on, every time i have to work on a cosplay, i love it so much! Like Inuyasha it has an AMAZING soundtrack

I know you will just ignore my comment but I really want this anime to get popular and I have a good reason why. The plot revolves around fifteen-year-old Miaka Yuuki, a typical high school girl whose main concerns are boys, food, and shopping. Living with her single mom and brother, Miaka attends junior high school, barely passing her classes and being constantly reprimanded by her best friend and resident genius Yui Hongo. When Yui goes to the library one afternoon, Miaka tags along. In the restricted room of the library, the two girls come across a book titled, "The Universe of the Four Gods." They begin to read it, and magically they are sucked into ancient China. Eventually, Yui is able to leave the book, leaving Miaka alone in a strange world with a greedy stranger known only as Tamahome. Miaka is then taken to the emperor of the empire she landed in and is told that she is the savior they've been waiting for, the Priestess of Suzaku who will summon the Beast God and save Konan. As it turns out, each Priestess has seven warriors that were born to protect her, Tamahome, and the Emperor Hotohori, being two of them. Now Miaka must embark on a quest to find the remaining warriors and then she can save the world Naturally, the road is never easy, and some fairly predictable situations occur. Love triangles, rivalries, concerned older siblings, and typical young love blossom throughout the fifty-two episode series. I had forgotten the name of it and i had watched it one but the last part of the movie was deleted everywhere ... all streams break up at half of the movie) I wanted to watch it in full the end so much. Great list. I definitely want to watch Demon Slayer down the line because that show has got a great seiyuu cast. I have definitely seen Avatar the Last Airbender and though it is not technically an anime, it is a great show. Inuyasha is my first ever anime. Watched it when I was a teenager and now I’m 33 & rewatch it ALL the time! Sad part is: I never have anyone to discuss my love for it bc my friends don’t watch anime. My mom has actually been getting into some, but she likes the romance only kind like “Peach Girl” lol. I recently put her onto “Fruits Basket,” which is a REALLY GOOD drama about members of the zodiacs. Anyway, I’m going back in time and watching “Rurouni Kenshin” bc I love action and romance anime. I’m trying really hard to like “Kamisama Kiss,” but the main character irks me so bad. I keep stopping to watch other stuff. I just started “Vampire Knight,” and the first episode already has me sucked in! Anyway, thanks for letting me be apart of your community, Angela. Being a black 33 yr old mom and into anime seems kinda off to some, so it feels good to have a place to go to discuss your faves! Appreciate channels like these ❤️

I think Steven Universe kinda counts too, a lot of animation was done in South Korea, inspired by anime, the protagonist has a gang, and Steven didn’t feel like he belonged in either world that he existed in, has power ups based on experiential learning, a bit of romance as well for many characters past and present, etc. Taught many different life lessons that are influential to growing up and understanding and loving one another. Steven is Hanyo, if you think about it lol

I found out about romeo x juliet because I was doing an extra credit assignment for my English class on Romeo and Juliet where I had to create a Facebook page for Juliet. That is when I found out about this anime. Then a while after I found out about romeo x juliet I found out about Inuyasha thanks to watchmojo 😌😂 but it took me time to watch it and it's one of my favorite animes

Your example of physically shaking with doing everyday things such as paying for food at a restaurant is so incredibly relatable. Also that disappointment in yourself for experiencing that.. very relatable. And I'm sorry! Please don't feel like that! I know it doesn't work that way but there are so many of us who struggle like that and I think an important thing to know is that we don't need to feel bad about how we are/who we are. i love inuyasha, but i did not like avatar the last airbender oddly enough. also, you should watch Blue Exorcist (Japanese name Ao No Exorcist). It basically a modern inuyasha and it's one of my favorites. there's technically only two seasons (the second one basically taking place after the first one in an alternate timeline). I think there's a movie or two of this as well. :3
when I watched the last episode of Inuyasha on youtube, I was told Kamisama was more like Inuyasha..I did watch it and ya a lot of things were similar but it was too romantic for a guy..I felt like it was more like a chick flick.or an extended cringy version of episodes where Kagome went to the modern era....and her friends just rambling about love...

It's pretty much the Shojo version of Inuyasha, so there is fighting but the focus is on romance and drama which settle things better than fights.

when I watched the last episode of Inuyasha on youtube, I was told Kamisama was more like Inuyasha..I did watch it and ya a lot of things were similar but it was too romantic for a guy..I felt like it was more like a chick flick.or an extended cringy version of episodes where Kagome went to the modern era....and her friends just rambling about love...
