Spiritualized soundcheck 1998.

Spiritualized soundcheck somewhere in the USA as support to Radiohead on the OK Computer tour, 1998.
Two songs - 'Walking with Jesus' and 'Think I'm in Love'.
Band members: Jason Pierce (guitar, vox), Sean Cook (bass, harmonica), Tim Lewis (aka Thighpaulsandra) (keyboards, backing vocals), Malcolm Cross (filling in as temporary drummer for Damon Reece), Ray Dickaty (sax,flute) and Mike Mooney (guitar).
Also featuring Slouch BSA (roadie to the stars) and Hutch (soundman par excellence - here doing monitors).
I have put this up before, but with poor quality sound, so hopefully this version is a bit better.

i was 17 .. went to see Radiohead.. never heard of the opener.. Spiritualized changed my life that nite.
i distinctly remember when they played Shine A Light into Electric Mainline, it was at that moment i knew everything would be different in my life.
Met the band after the gig outside their bus.
Vancouver 1998.
--- been looking for footage of that nite since youtube started.. i'm going to pretend this is from the Pacific Colosseum.
also.. the next day went to a record store and found the Fxckxd Up Inside mailorder only cd. The journey had begun. xx

I saw this tour… Drove up to Toronto.. without checking Google. I’ll guess 12th of April 1998. Only a few times I went in for an opening band.. Spiritualized for Radiohead… and Radiohead opening for Alanis Morrisette a few years earlier…😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Best period of this year for me finding this mid 90's tour rehearsal videos of them, brought back so many good memories of the band, even seeing Kate in the band, thanks Mr. Farr.
