  • In This video, I will be building a Lazy Susan. This Lazy Susan needs to be rugged enough to hold large furniture because, I want to show my viewers a 360 degree view of the projects that I post on my Channel. This DIY Lazy Susan will allow me to spin even the largest of project effortlessly and give me great footage that I then can share with you. Check out this quick video to see how I build it.

I don't really know how to properly tell you this but...
    *_You're a life saver._*
Like, you know when you're starting a project and you go "YEAH I SHOULD DO THAT," and then you check all the boxes like: "OK, I have that, I have that, I could manage to purchase one of those..."
*_All boxes are checked except ONE._*
And for the life of you, you simply CANNOT figure out how to get that one last thing for your *AMAAAZING* project.
You search and you search, and nothing comes up.
And then, months later (when you're not even thinking about the project)
    *_BOOM!!_*
    Out of nowhere.
THAT'S what this video is for me right now.
And I simply do not know how to thank you.
I had no idea up til this point that you could make your own turntable _that carries a lot of weight_ without spending thousands.
    ❤👍 *THANK YOU!!* 👍❤
*Edit:* Also, I see now that your whole channel is literally a gold mine.
I just got a little niece and I love her to pieces, and your DIY:s will TOTALLY come in handy when she gets a bit older!! ☺💕

Thank you so much! you are very kind!!
It is my goal for my videos to inspire others to create, teach people how to work with their hands and save money by doing their own projects :)
I hope you will find more of my videos helpful in the future as I upload a new video each week!
      Thanks again!

Super video, I would love do a turntable to set a shoe rack on top of it. However that middle part where you drill the two holes and use the holes to screw in the circular woods together went over my head . But it was super nice to see the end result .

@@SimonSaysDIY i watched another video you did and it already inspired me to redo a different armoire into a gun cabinet came out reallh nice and i even added led lighting in it.
I used a hole saw and a scroll saw for the scoped rifles and then attached them through the sides, i also made an outside rack for it thats twice as thick, to hide the inside bolts and stability for my "daily rifles" i dont do videos but i do commend people like yourself who do, as they do get people motivated to do things.
Or atleast think about projects they will or can dom

Constitutional Republican I’m glad to hear it! I would love to see a picture of your finished cabinet if you have one! And thank you, I have tuns of projects I would love to get done however, it does take a lot of extra work to record, edit, and post a video each week. Because of this I get fewer projects done than I would like but my goal with these videos is to teach and inspire people to work with their hands and create things. When I hear that my videos are helpful the extra time then becomes worth it to me.

    Can you motorize it?

    • @SimonSaysDIY
      @SimonSaysDIY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Im sure you probably could. A small electric motor and a belt should work.
