3-Year Old EATS SCORPION!!! 🦂 Patpong Night Market, Bangkok, Thailand

- We loved going to the top of the Mahanakhon King Power Tower in Bangkok, Tower (see that video here: • BEST View of Bangkok a... ). When we were done, we were starving and ready for a delicious meal. We decided to walk to the Pangong Night Market to eat their street food.
After making our way through all of the busy streets, we made it safely to the market. We were instantly welcomed with all kinds of fun Thai food: cotton candy, kebabs, seafood, treats, and much more. We had to stop at the table with all of the critters that we have heard are eaten in Asian countries.
We decided to try a scorpion 🦂! Dad was the first to be courageous and try it, and each of the kids decided to taste it as well. Dad and Jake got the crunchy claws, while Sam ate the majority of the legs with some of the body. Grace was the best. We thought she was going to take a little bite. Instead, she ate the rest of the scorpion that was left. We all thought it actually tasted really good. The shopkeeper was then kind to let us try mealworms and other creatures that we typically wouldn't eat. They were actually really yummy!
We loved trying the different fresh juices (pomegranate, orange 🍊, pineapple 🍍, and Dad's favorite, avocado 🥑 ). They each tasted so delicious and fresh! Finally, we were ready for our main course. We decided to get a variety of wontons and dumplings, kebabs, and lots of noodles. Finally, we decided to try the ice cream tolls that were made from scratch right there in front of us. They were delicious!
It was a great way to end a fantastic day!

Great video Cute children eating fried small creatures of the ground and leaves. Wow! Patpong has changed. It was previously not safe for children. Here are some nice malls in Bangkok (eye and palette life changing): Icon Siam - very close to your place. Via fun MRT rides. (Less than 8 min). Siam Square via fun MRT rides (about 10 mins). Terminal 21 via fun MRT ride (5 mins from Siam Square. and close to the Benjasiri Park. Enjoy ☺️!

Normaly thai people not eat scorpion and I am Thais.

those were bamboo worms, not mealworms. though relatively more expensive, they taste the best in my opinion. moreover, these worms feed on bamboo lining, not on something unappetizing.
It's 10x times more expensive than pork in Bangkok for those worm.
I saw a kilo pack at Makro supermarket in Bangkok and just like What!!.😓
@@onalonan in the nature the moth of this worm only lays egg once a year and it takes a year to complete its life cycle comparing with other moths that need only 45-60 days. moreover, bamboo trees, its main source of food, in the nature are reducing. so, that's why it's very expensive. thai researchers are finding a way to do bamboo worm farming. i hope they don't succeed though. i don't want them to genetically mess up with or use some kind of hormone on this moth.
