    Great video - organized, good camera work. Thanks!
    For owners that have the Quadra Trac II, the spec’d transfer case fluid is ATF +4. Shell 134 is for Quadra Trac I.

    Nice video and I will be changing the diff and transfer case fluids in 900 more miles, as soon as it reaches 100,000. You might want to remind people to check which transfer case they have. The Quadra-Trak I uses ATF 3353 (Shell ATF 134 in your video). The Quadra-Trak II uses ATF+4, which is what my 2018 GC has. The build sheet (available for free online - google search) specifies which one it has. I already replaced the trans pan and fluid at 60,000 miles by following another great video of yours. Edit: I just finished changing the transfer case fluid in my 2018 GC which has Quadra-Trak II. I used slightly over 2 qt of ATF+4, including flushing out the bottle pump of whatever fluid was previously in there. I think the specs are 1.9 qt. I recommend having 3 qt available if you have the Quadra-Trak II.

      Hello. I have a 2018 with Quadra Trak 2 also. The dealer sold me 2 Quarts of ATF4 for the transfer case. Do you think I should go grab 1 more Quart? He sold based on my VIN.

    • @RoadiJeff
      @RoadiJeff หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@henryl5195 Two quarts is right at what it takes but if you want to allow for a little spillage, etc., it is better to have three just in case. In my case, I am glad I did. I'd rather have a little too much than not enough.

      I would get 1 more quart if I were you. The front diff calls for 1.1 quarts and as for the rear diff jeep ended up putting three different rear diffs on these so depending on which one you have the 1st one take 1.1 qts, 2nd one takes 1.3 qts, and the 3rd one takes 1.6 qts but they all take the 75w-85.

    How do I tell what transfer case I have?

      There should be a label on the case with a part# & serial number which I googled and found what transfer case my JGC has. I also checked my equipment list and found what transfer case that my JGC has.

      There will be a tag on the transfer case underneath the vehicle. What model grand Cherokee do you have?

      Most likely you will have the mp2010 just like in the video just crawl underneath and check the tag to be sure though.

      @BLUE COLLAR GARAGE I have to remove the skid plate to verify the model. I did some research and the one I have is MP3023 two-speed active electronic transfer case with electronic limited slip rear differential

    Does the transfer case use the same 75w85?

    • @BLUECOLLARGARAGE
      @BLUECOLLARGARAGE  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No it’s different depending on what transfer case you have. The mp2010 transfer case takes the shell atf 3403 like what I used in the video. If you have the nv245 transfer case it will take the mopar nv247/245 transfer case lube. All other transfer cases will take Atf +4 fluid.
