Just found your review and what a great job you did . I have been a fan of Japan from almost the start and like many always wonder what other work we have missed out on if only they would have continued . Rob to me was very much a key figure in the band and as much as i love Tin drum Adolescent Sex Is my most played Japan album even to this day .Light Of day Is a Superb album hats Off to Rob .
Hi, haven't heard this album but your comments regarding "The album gets better with repeated listenings" I can relate to with some of my favourite albums created by my favourite artists.. I've always felt Rob Deans guitar style and ability was unique. Cheers for the heads-up :)
Found this review when checking out preview tracks for the album after seeing it on burning shed. For me it is the most exciting album release of the year, can't wait to hear it in full. The Japan book looks really good, is it available to buy yet?
