    Great explanation. The Ramchargers did that to my 340 Super Stock 340 block back in 1973. It worked great!! Good luck with your car.

    I am impressed and your video has given me the confidence to preform such a process on my own engines. I am running a flat solid too. { a poor man's hydraulic roller !} The cap mod from a previous episode, is so simple, yet clearly overlooked by many! Luck fortune with your racing. Have fun.

    Interesting you are having piling issues, reminds me I bought a valiant with a 340 when I was 18yo and the story was the motor was the last spare from a dirt track car.
    I believe the front sump oil pan led to oil starvation? The guy said the car was fast but couldn’t keep the bearing in them.

      Yea some people have good luck, I have not lol. Apparently magnums don’t have as many issues

    As far as the suction side goes that’s a non issue for you anyway due to the fact that you pull off the pump cover instead of the factory location.

    How do the hydraulic lifters get their oil?
