Kazuma probably still a wimp due to way Mami tore this due to pieces. Despite all that he saved Chizuru and supported her and her grandma to me it seems like she is dragging it while Kazuya has one goal and that is Chizuru. Them other girls are preventing him from doing that.
My desired ending? Having matured and found direction Mami is able to see Kazuya as a better man. Together they are able to break free of Mami’s “situation” brought on by her father. No spoilers. Ruka will find an energetic guy who loves her as one of the guys asking her out at the karaoke bar catches her eye. She keeps on working there through college eventually becomes a district manager of a number of locations. Sumi will meet a prince all her own in the humanities department. Though both shy their spirit to grow helps each come more out of their shells. Together they become part of the board of directors at a major museum of artwork. And our 🥶 🐟? She will work hard as a waitress (“aspiring actress”) looking for casting couches knowing generations care less and less for theatre performances & movies get worse due to woke crap. Eventually enough people will have broken free from woke crap and rebuild entertainment, but at that point Chizuru will be a small diner manager having given up on acting a long time ago. The final scene will show a flashback of her being rejected at a (presumably last) casting call while a younger lady, who has an uncanny resemblance to her, comes out cheering she has landed the role. Mizuhara will look at the ground, defeated, and slink away.
Why do I feel like the girl's ending is more pathetic. Hesitate too much and she will lose him along the way. He will finally decide he had enough and pick the nearest girl he knows. The girl will pity the love and support she always had with him and start finding another simp to suck the life of their 20's to 30's.
Considering Kazuya personalities, that won't happen even in the near future. Remember, this is a 21 years old man who blew all the money his parent gave him for college to rent a fake girlfriend and simping for her a loooonnnggg time while getting a boner fantasizing her banged by another dude. While Chizuru is a irritating b1tch, she is the winner here because the guy simping for her to hard.

Said this before, but bears repeating: From what I know, as I don’t do manga, one of three things will happen due to length and progress (lack there of): Series will cancel while manga is ongoing. Manga will finish, but show has already been cancelled. The writers of series do some major surgery and trimming so that forth season has a time jump at start, maybe with each character narrating their paths, and it pick up maybe 3/4 into current manga. From what I have heard they would need MANY seasons (too much progress and return to prior state) to get significant progress.
Okay......I'm tired of this show showing up in my recommended so I'm gonna leave my honest thoughts here just because I feel like it and delete every video of this series that comes up again and hopefully it just goes away. I hate this show. I've come upon many romance "type" anime in my life and this one has been the most frustratingly dumb ones I've glimpsed at over the years. I can't stand anyone in this show and that includes Chizuru herself. She is so damn repressed and manipulative its frustrating me whenever she's on screen. She uses pathetic dudes in her job that are too desperate for love in life as a business practice. They pay her for their desperation. She uses the main character to help her out in her own life and is so indecisive about her feelings for him it just makes her see him more as a tool than someone she respects. This is even after he saves her life from drowning, after he puts all his time and energy into supporting her own goals that only benefit her. I don't even think she should like the guy since he's such a pathetic wuss of a character, so much so that I have trouble finding an equal to him anywhere else, but if she's gonna catch feelings for him she should ACT on those feelings instead of stringing all this bullshit along. The MC looks and acts like a tool who's desperate as hell for any female attention and its hard to watch. My friend recently read one of the latest chapters in the series (I don't know why) and its the same thing you see here. Over 200 chapters later the state of things hasn't changed from where it is now. She's still using him, still "undecided" about him, and the MC is still a wuss who gets tight within a 10 mile radius of every girl he meets. I've heard people say they like this anime at least for the girls but I don't even understand that. Chizuru to me is just as pathetic as the MC. People seem to like this girl who clearly just uses people for her own gain and is totally happy about doing it. She has no eye to love in any genuine way , has no desire for it and any dude who gets caught up with her are only in to get burned. She's stupid, the MC is stupid, and the rest of the series is stupid. Its just a never ending spin of the same thing over and over again. Its incredible to me how so many great shows never get more than one season yet this one has 3 already. Anyways that's it, that's all I wanted to say. I'd like to move on from this show now so hopefully TH-cam stops recommending it to me when I don't even watch it. Good day to you all and hopefully you find something better to watch than this

Like everything is just getting repeated but in a different application and different situations. It's so complicated watching this. It's like making no progress at all.
