It’s sad that a lot of people are shocked to see him sing so well. He was a singer first. And as a main vocalist of a strong vocal group, he is the stan attractor with his voice and tone. We EXOLs live by our pride of stanning these talented artists. I hope people drop their prejudice of idols and really try to deep dive into EXO and Kyungsoo’s discography because they are not just making songs to make a living. They poured their heart and crafted their songs with attention to details with their professionalism.

I’m an Army actually but when I heard Exo’s songs, my ears always recognised Kyungsoo’s voice. I heard a lot of praises on Chen’s voice and Baekhyun’s voice and they are amazing don’t get me wrong but I’m always attracted to Kyungsoo’s voice more. I just LOVE his unique tone so much! ❤ I just kept repeating his part.. So talented and so good!
As for me, doh.kyungsoo has been always my utmost preference. He is the best singer .

Do is my mom's favourite singer, she died at 68 years of age, 8 Sept 23 ..around the time DO sang supermarket flower. I am touched, i miss my mom. I didn't watch it when it aired, i was late to get to this, but still DO brings me a special emotion for singing this. Because i listened to this song by ed sheeran many times after my mom passed away, to heal..and to stay alive

you dont get a voice like this from training…like not even the most professional vocal coach could do this, this is a singer by birth. he said he has been singing since elementary school and has always loved music so imagine.. his voice has always sounded this majestic. he has a terrific vocal projection and i think that’s why you feel like listening to his voice over and over again and never getting tired, it also makes a lot of sense why he sounds so good when talking and singing and another reason why he sounds differently doing both. I have been a dandanie for 5 years already and my pride never stops growing with him just not for the talented artist and actor kyungsoo but also as for kyungsoo the man his humbleness determination and selflessness are truly an inspiration to me and im blessed to be able to exist at the same time as him, I LOVE YOU MY SOO BBY🤎🪽

It's been a topic about his great pronunciation in speaking foreign languages, such as English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese or even Korean. Fans and nonfans have been wondering how good he sounds even though he doesn't speak the language. Of course his vocal technique is a thing that makes his songs great, but the key is his mouth and lip movement. He has great mouth and lip movements that makes his pronunciation so on point. Learnt about this from one of the English teachers.
Eh, your English teacher is only partly correct. It's mostly about the tongue and how he uses air when learning new consonants. The lips are very important for making the different vowel sounds. You may have noticed how differently he shaped his mouth to capture a more British sounding English for 'Falling Like the Stars,' and used a perfectly fine American accent for 'Supermarket Flowers.' Notice how he extended his jaw to make those rounder, deeper vowels for 'Falling,' but still kept his mouth open the almost same amount, just slightly more, as he had earlier, to produce the same resonance. If he never had a pronunciation coach, he's an absolute genius. Also, there are no consonant clusters in Korean. There is also no /v/ or /f/ in Korean. But he does them flawlessly in English. He's a master. He's got perfect tongue placement and air control.

Not sure if SM has a pronunciation coach for their artists or not (they probably do), I think it could be just Kyungsoo mimicking how the original artists pronouncing the words haha. Not a wrong thing to mimic how people pronounce, it's actually the ways many foreign language learners follow. Anyway, it's gifted for him👏🏻👏🏻
성숙해지면서 더 단단한 보컬이 됐지만 사실 타고난 음색으로 데뷔초부터 노래는 늘 잘해왔는걸요. 양날의 칼인 아이돌 프레임 속에서 뛰어난 보컬 실력이 가려져 있던 것이 가장 아쉽고요... 연기보다도 본업인 가수로서의 도경수를 보면 타고난 재능이 이런거구나 깨닫게 돼요. 누구보다 알앤비 장르에 특출난 음색과 보컬을 가졌다고 자부합니다. 이런 프로그램을 통해 여태 가수로서의 경수를 몰랐던 분들도 특별한 매력을 느낄 수 있으면 좋겠네요. 연기하는 도경수도 좋지만 사실은 노래하는 도경수가 더 찐이라는 걸... 노래로 위로 받을 수 있어서 행복합니다ㅠ__ㅠ

오날오밤이나 리무진서비스를 보고 도경수님 보컬 장난없는듯 느끼시는 분들이 많은데 보통 저렇게 노래실력이 뛰어나면 본인을 어필할 강력한 파워를 보여줄노래를 들고 나오는데 경수님은 본인이 추구하는 스타일로 2집까지 이어져 오는 걸 보면 대단한 내공이 있는 사람이라는 생각이 든다.
노래할때도 잘 해 보이려고 애쓰지 않는 편안한 얼굴이라 어려운곡이라는걸 느끼지 못하게 하는.. 편안한 힐링을 주는..그게 다 도경수답다는 건가 보다.
