Something Beau said YEARS ago continues to be true: You can support Trump (Trumpism), or you can support the Constitution. You cannot do both.
here’s a supplemental statement:
“you can support dRUMPfism, you can support FASCISM. you’re doing BOTH”

@@JoePackJoeNC are you aware that you are completely f***ing wrong? so utterly wrong that I'm going to be surprised if you made it past middle school - you certainly didn't learn anything in american government & civics classes, even the most basic courses on those subjects.
The judiciary exists to interpret and apply the laws of the United States. The judiciary cannot function without interpreting the laws. While it is often a complaint that the Judiciary gets the interpretation wrong, that is its own issue. Thus it CANNOT be illegal for federal judges to interpret the law, unless you're going to somehow demonstrate how the entire third branch of the U.S. government isn't allowed to exist.
Oops, the Constitution doesn't agree with you - it definitively says we're going to have a Supreme Court, and such further subordinate courts as Congress shall decide to establish.

To the author of the question, "How is Trump supposed to run the country if the judges keep stopping him and ruling against him?" How about LEGALLY? He's supposed to run the country legally according to the Constitution. That would be a great start.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is strong with this one. Be glad Trump is PotUS, without him you wouldn’t have a TH-cam channel; not much of interest happens on ‘the Ranch’.
@ProudGrammaMe Then why are you here?
@ProudGrammaMe You're hilarious. I don't know why you're ok with the PotUS breaking the law. Imagine if President Biden or Kamala used Trump words against your "side," (reminder that we most all of us want what's best for our country, our family and ourselves) and if your brain screams NO, then maybe think of why your brain is OK with one but not ok with the other. Our brains are fun like that.
@ProudGrammaMe The ONLY one with Trump Derangement Syndrome is YOU and the rest of the MAGAts that share a single IQ point.
The key word in that quote is “legitimate”. What Trump is doing is not legitimate.
@@anna9072 yep, that’s the gaslighting.
Strange to think that constitutionalist judges (likely republican appointees) and the trump admin’s own bumbling incompetence might save us from the worst of Donnie’s impulses.
True, but do not mix up "legitimate" and "legal".
There are many things that are not legitimate but at the same time are very much legal. The things that judges stopped were for the most part neither legitimate nor legal...
@WhatIsThatAvi
Ironic indeed. Maybe it will be like the end of The Prophecy where the Devil saves the world.
Absolutely
Electing a felon to "run" the country legally is counterintuitive to the max.
Also, why elect a fascist president if his friend can't even sieg heil without people getting all worked up.

Perfect. They are in fact actually stating those points and the MAGA then repeat it back to us. Make this make sense.
correction: how are the thieves supposed to steal OUR wealth...".
Sneakily?
They're just establishing the narrative that the president already, legally has unlimited power and checks and balances on that power are illegitimate and illegal.
This is just the start, they're going to keep pushing until they defacto have unlimited power and all resistance is illegal, or they're out of power.
For now they're using bluster, threats, and firing people(even when they lack the authority), but without enough pushback, solid intractable pushback across the board that actually stops them, things are going to get very bad very quickly.
A Yale education was wasted on JD Vance.
With legacy admissions, there's no longer any prestige in that alma mater.

Thank you, Belle, for making it very, very clear…..”The President is not supposed to run the country.’
Yes a guy just signing executive orders is not “running the country.”
But if his billionaire buddies gut enough of it he might get to run the country.
The word "run" should have an i in it, Right after the u. He's not really supposed to do that either.
Or anyone elses but he's certainly trying.
The president is not supposed to commit crimes.
Nor allowed to be dick tater "for a day".
How is he supposed to run the country????? Try doing things LEGALLY. WITH the consent of CONGRESS. The way THE CONSTITUTION is set up
Ah, that pesky Constitution. I'm willing to be it won't be long before he tries to declare a national emergency and set aside that document.
What they're doing is buiding the narrative in the public consciousness that the president is supposed to run the country, and he has unlimited power, so as to undermine all the checks and balances.
Act and talk like he already has unlimited power, like the checks and balances are already illegal, and keep pushing; if he's not stopped, it will defacto become the truth.
Then things are going to really get bad.
Laws don't enforce themselves, people do; the books are filled with laws that are no longer enforced because people stopped enforcing them, the only thing stopping the US Constitution from joining them is is the will of the people to make it so.
They will keep pushing until they are stopped, and will continue pushing even then until they're out of power. If they hit a roadblock they'll try to go around it while trying to undermine it and pushing in every other direction they can at the same time for atleast the next 2 years, probably 4 years, and if you don't keep them from going far enough, a lot longer than that.
MAGA and Republicans need to take a class on US Government. ALL of them - and the need to pay attention!
I am old enough to remember thinking Dan Quayle was going to be the dumbest VP. No champ lasts forever.

This has got me most concerned. Trump is going to say “make me” our Democracy relies on respect for the law. Trump has zero respect for the law.
Arrest Trump Musk Vance for treason. Three branches of Government. Executive, Legislative and Judiciary
That is my greatest concern as well, taking the 'they made their decision, let them enforce it" route. After the supreme court ruling, we can't arrest the POTUS, but is this going to turn into a whack-a-mole with arrest the minions, then they are pardoned, rinse repeat ad nauseum?
I am worried because who is the enforcement arm of the federal judiciary? The US Marshalls. And who do they report to ultimately? The Secretary of State. Same result of no action or accountability - just way less arrests. We are kinda screwed. It’s going to take people on the streets and I think Trump will use the military against them. I know this is bleak and I would love someone to show me I am factually wrong.
Which is a primary reason we have NEVER and should NEVER elect a convicted FELON to office. The Rule of Law is the foundation in our system and that requires everybody operating in good faith - not my way it the highway.
So we make him. Through not complying with his "executive orders" that are unconstitutional and illegal. We don't *have* to do what he says if it's not legal. He's a President, not a King.
Without three actually independent branches of government, populated by people who will uphold their oaths of office, The United States Constitution is only a piece of paper.
😭😔
That's why it is called "The American Experiment".
I hope they've hidden the original one in case Trumpery decides to literally rip it apart.
Trump and the GOP are testing the system. I pray to God that it holds.
100%. The GOP sees the constitution as a bunch of nice suggestions. Use it against people you don’t like, ignore it or reinterpret it when it relates to you.
Vance needs to resign if he doesn’t accept checks and balances.
True, but I think that's why he was picked. Can't have the felon-in-chief's wingman worried about the law now, can we? The whole crew is a veritable rogues gallery of grift and bigotry.
If the executive branch doesn’t follow the law, the judiciary is fully entitled to make sure that the executive behave legally. Period.
they have no enforcement mechanism, and as long as it stays federal, he can pardon anyone who is penalized by the judges.
The US Marshals Service is supposed to enforce the court's orders - the problem is, the Marshals fall under the DOJ.
@Noreb the Marshal of the United States Supreme Court is fully entitled to compel the executive to follow court orders
@ So can we make sure the charges are state level at least? This would turn into a whack-a-mole situation otherwise.

The big problem for me with Vance's quotes is that he served in the military and he is an attorney. He knows that both of those things he said are wrong.

Legally, he's supposed to run the country legally.
Not even sure if the President's role is to 'run the country' -- he's the Chief Executive -- his responsibility is to ensure that the laws passed by Congress are executed, within the bounds of the Constitution. 'Running the country' sounds like a 'too bigly' role for the President....
I know what you are intending to say by the comment but consider the point of the video is that the president doesn't "run the country" in the first place. "We the people" "run the country." Allegedly. It's just that "we" have been mostly MIA since, oh, I don't know, the Vietnam War? 🤔✌️👍🙏💪😎
Trump, in one of his many claims of “executive privilege,” asked: How am I supposed, or any president, supposed to do our job if we have to obey the law?
A criminal asked that question because that criminal doesn’t know how to do things any other way.
democracy for dummies:
WE run the country.
THEY are our employees.
authoritarianism for dummies:
the other way around.
With the other two branches and the people. The private media has skewed the US population. I would say on purpose. Making Presidents the center of power. They are not, because it is a fail safe against authoritarian dictators. But, the private ownership elite, want a dictator to allow their illegal and harmful quest for profits and power. This way they can act unrestrained and use people, places and things for their personal pleasure; profits and power over the people
Or another answer to Vance’s question: “Don’t violate the law by overstepping your constitutional authority, and I’m pretty sure judges will be happy to concentrate on other legal issues brought before them.

That does seem to be one gap in the Constitution -- but I think that this mess was never expected -- the Judiciary branch does not have its own enforcement organization -- the US Marshalls actually work for the Executive Branch....
I am hopeful that they understand and believe in their purpose and their oath.
The public hasn’t either. Stop hiding behind an imperfect system. If you want something done then exert your power.

Exactly. When MAGA says, "We need unity," they mean they want YOU to kiss their fascist boots as they destroy your life, take away your liberty, and ensure neither you nor your children are allowed the pursuit of happiness. Whether you're American, Palestinian, or even Native American--MAGA intends to stomp on you because they're evil and you'd rather be a kind, rational, caring human being instead of a cruel, evil, bigot like MAGA.

Yes, I said much the same to a friend of mine yesterday when he asked me about Vance's pronouncement. Our democracy depends on the rule of law. That means that when a judge says something the parties involved adhere to that ruling, even as appeals take their course. That is how it works. If the government is ruled against, but still acts lawlessly, we no longer have a democracy. And I contend that the actions by Trump in 'hiring' Musk, and Musk's actions at agencies to act without an Act from Congress mean that a coup has been effected. We are now working to undo that coup.
if the president can ignore the court, we can too. He doesn't want to set that precedent.
That's the difference between an elected president and a dictator.
The military can not operate in the County absent a legitimate emergency declaration. Courts can rule on the emergency declaration. Court's can absolutely decide what a prosecutor's power is and isn't. Vance is an attorney (as I am) and can face disbarment for false claims.
Does he still have a license/ member of the bar as VP?
@gmun2248 Yes he is still an attorney. Suggesting a judge or courts in general are acting illegally or even that they are not ethical is a serious problem for lawyers because it damages the authority and credibility of the judiciary. Any bar association he is a part if should investigate him and hopefully Start a disciplinary action.
Thanks for being a lighthouse here!
@CharlesRobbins-k8k Thanks for the helpful info! ✌🏼
That might be another source to write. It wouldn't be a good look if the bar chose to ignore the public pointing out what needs to be done.
@erinmac4750 I hope so!
Unfortunately, our system of checks and balances is predicated on the belief that all parties will respect the rule of law. We can't make that assumption with this administration.
I went and listened to Article II of the Constitution, and wow, it hardly grants the President any power at all! How did we get here, where the President basically acts like a king 😩
Two steps: First, declare your alliance to the mainstream religion and find religious leaders willing to compromise their beliefs for power.
Second, have the Supreme Court grant a president complete immunity while they hold the court.
There is a third step that helps, but isn't required: have majorities in both house and Senate willing to roll over like a well heeled curr.
I still contend, what power do the courts have if the executive branch chooses to disregard any court order??
Congress is supposed to be an arbiter in this situation through laws or impeachment, or in the case of Donald Trump a definition of insurrection.
Yes. Considering Congress is falling down on the job, that is the $64 million question.......

Thank you for that informative intelligent adult answer to those questions. I have to say that those very questions that you so intellectually answered are great examples of how lazy and complacent we in America have become.
🤠
Howdy, Ranch Hands! Hope you're having a good morning!👋
💗👋🏻
Good morning good Donald! Congratulations on your team's victory!
Great message!!!!! This needs to be spread out throughout the country!!!!!
Good morning Ms. Belle and internet folks.
👋🏻💗
Good morning Mark! I hope you have a wonderful day today!
How is he supposed to run the country? Legally, obviously. The judge is stopping illegal actions.
Good Morning Belle and internet Community 😂

Good morning Gerrit! I hope today is pleasant for you!
👋 mornin' all hope you have a wonderful day
Thanks Victoria! Wait… 😂 Much appreciated Outdoor! Hope yours is a fun and active one too! Watched a friends video of their ice fishing trip… thought of you. We fast forwarded through 5 hours of video and beer drinking to get to where they caught a cute little fish 🐠 LOL!
Good morning Longhair! I hope you have a wonderful day today!

Try not to confuse the two of us Erin-Thor. I'm the one with short hair who's almost always indoors. ;-)
@@Erin-Thor interesting stuff ain't it. Not my thing anymore though. After they filled me with titanium I thought it would be wise to keep away from water. Coupled with my breathing issues I would probably not survive a dunking. And the drinking was never my thing. Anyway, have a wonderful day.
@@victoriajohnson-parratt6975 - LOL! I would NEVER! It’s just that the two of you are so eternally cheerful, warm and positive! I’m well into my second cup of coffee before I reach that stage. 🤣👍🏽😎

Thank you Belle!
It is common to get rid of the judges that support the normal laws of the land prior to the dictatorship that is taking over.
The little corporal apparently never paid attention to that silly Oath thingy. And why should he when his boss is using it as toliet paper.
Mornin' Belle Besties😊
Impeach Trump and Vance, imprison musk.

Thank You Belle and Team for the News Highlights and Observations.
Always brilliant but this one is one of your best. 👏👏🙏👍✌️💪😎
Belle, thank you for keeping me informed and sane at the same time! So deeply appreciate!
I remember the former administration having problems with a Texas judge that the same people complaining now were happy about. There is some saying about karma that they like to use.
Thank you for all of your short, informative videos! I often share them. I shared this one. We need our checks and balances!
Good morning everyone!
Filed under “questions most presidents never had to ask because they understood how to behave in advance”
Well, Jackson did similar, and with the exact same disregard for the judicial branch...
The question I have is how the courts are supposed to enforce their rulings against an executive that can fire the enforcers. I guess that will be an interesting constitutional issue. It is sad we have to have this conversation at all. It is sadder that Americans feel that they are at war with each other over internet memes.
