- In this video I take a boat trip to the Daymaniyat Islands off the coast of Oman's capital, Muscat. The Daymaniyat Islands are a group of 9 small islands where you can go snorkelling and see all the brightly coloured fish and the amazing sea turtles! This is definitely a hidden gem in Oman and a must do as a day trip from Muscat.

BACK IN THE EARLY 1970S WE PAT AND OUR CHIILDREN HAD FISH AND CHIPS AT SCARBOUROUGH AND WENT ON THE BOAT TRIP ALONG THE COAST I WAS SICK OVER THE SIDE OF THE BOAT,SUPRISINGLY MY FALSE TEETH NEVER FELL OUT. WHEN WE GOT OFF THE BOAT I HAD TO RUN TO SIT ON THE TOILET ,MY STOMACH WAS REALLY UPSET LUCKILY THERE WAS A SPARE ONE .NEVER AGAIN WOULD I GO ON A BOAT ANGELICA.
