He was not a background set guy, who was replaceable. He was, however, a popular enough character and integral part of the show that if they got rid of him, fans would have absolutely hated the decision. And finally, he was an adult. This is kind of a situation where we think first, accuse later because Josh was literally innocent he did not have to do anything, Plus he didn't even know about the situation.

Drake really got screwed over after looking into the case, I imagine his legal advice was to just plead guilty but that was the wrong choice, he could of beat it.

I'll admit I believed the misinformation before I looked into it, but maybe Drake thought he was guilty for not realizing sooner but once you plead guilty, even if your innocent, you're already looking at mandatory minimums even if it was only for child endangerment cause he didn't actually do anything, that lead to all that misinformation.
Yet somehow Dan, someone ACTUALLY guilty of things, has been protected more than the President, Dan will be "done" when he's in front of a court room like Drake was, and I hope he pleads guilty because he ACTUALLY is...

An explanation is not an excuse. People suffered. Especially the young cast members who were powerless against those who should have been protecting them. Poor Drake, even though I do find him questionable at times, should never have been put through what he went through and is owed a long overdue apology. More needs to be done to protect those who can’t defend themselves.
