ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I'm surprised how good the Marvel Legends headsculpt looks compared to the Mafex version
Right? The Mafex is a solid package but the face sculpt is a not as good as the Legends version.

And I say it marvel legend is a good head for he’s price but the detail on the eye and the beard looks akward like he’s being taking some stuff before the sculpting
Anyway both are great but the line and scult work accuracy is actually way better on mafex

Looks like it hopped out of the movie. I love the paint and the expressions, it generally looks like a nice fig. But Im just scared if I were to buy one, there would be qc issues.

@@ultimateslinger9857 these are really hard to break! I accidentally bent my Miles way too far and his ball joint at the waist popped off, but it went right back. It also happened with his butterfly joint. They’re made to come apart and go back together easily in case of an accident.
Yea qc is a bitch when it comes to these. I had to get a replacement due to really shitty paint apps and the arm popping off easily

@@ultimateslinger9857 I just got mine today and so far it’s good you just have to be very careful and also for the wrists I would say use something like a small drill but and use the end and enlarge the holes in the hands (forgot what they are called)

The only problem with this video is that I haven't liked it lemme fix it it is now liked and also the pale face is linked to animation style to make it look more animated also I think they made some of the web paint darker than other parts because of the animated style again I think, maybe I'm wrong not so sure about the part without any paint

With how fickle MAFEX is with their QC, I’m cool w paying a little more for the security of having a solid figure. My MAFEX Carnage showed up defective, quick and easy replacement. #sponsored But many have similar feedback.
@@ShartimusPrime Ahhh I guess that makes sense. Tho amazon has an easy return/exchange policy for stuff like that too. Not too long ago I had them send me another sh dbz fig cuz the one that I got had a broken wrist peg *whole return and getting another one took like 4 days almost so not too bad at all, and no extra payments from my end too* But I guess sponsorship has its advantages if you have them XD

The paint job is amazing the accessories are super dope I never seen a mafex figure with this much accessories ngl this is better than the other Spiderman figures from mafex
The pegs are what bug me just cause of how thin they are

If I were to rank the accuracy from different companies from most to least accurate it would go Hot Toys, MAFEX, SHFiguarts, Marvel Legends.
I’m am DEFINITELY picking this up. So DOPE!!!
It's weird, cause this is ok detailwise and especially the insane amount of accessories, but damn the proportions are weird. I know the artstyle is funky, but the butterfly joints, especially with the very common paint issues look rough. I've seen loads of mafex Peter B's that have glaringly obvious barely painted butterfly joints, and ridiculously over painted shoulders or necks. The overall figure is fantastic though, and in the coat it solves my main issues, but if I were to have a suited up Peter B I prefer the look of something like the sentinel figure. May be a tad biased cause I have a sentinel spidey on the way, but they're different price ranges. Got the sentinel off someone I've known a while, sending it over to me some time soon. It has less accessories, especially a far weaker set of hands and faces, only two spidey heads with three Peter heads, no half unmasked, and not too great hand choices, and a huge gripe is the web shooting hands with integrated webs, but I'll get used to it. Sometimes it's just nice to pose a spidey thwipping without the web, but it's not the end of the world

The TH-cam reviewers are getting the ones with better paints while many collectors ended up having clear color mismatch between the arms and the torso

Mafex is really kind of bad with panel lines. My evangelions all had missed panel lines that I had to fix it using Gundam markers. I hope they'd fix that since their pricetag is on the high side

i've seen a few reviews of this figure. are you certain this isn't a knock-off? in the other reviews the ball joints were darker & the paint was way cleaner. i mean, you could've just got a funky one that made it past QC, but still.
