Here is some two-player head-to-head hockey action in anticipation for the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, which begin on Tuesday, April, 30th: "Yeayeah!", as Gar would say.
The game mode selection screen is among the worst in video gaming history, as it's EXTREMELY difficult to pick the exact game mode that you would like! This is VERY apparent near the beginning of this video.
Since the Pittsburgh Penguins finished first in the East this season and this just so happens to be a Mario Lemieux video game, it was fitting that Gar chose the Pens and that I picked the Caps, seeing as how they have a pretty good rivalry going and could potentially face-off in the playoffs this year.
Played on an official model 2 Sega Genesis using regular 3-Button controllers.

Remember saving up to buy this when it came out, EA hockey started my love for ice hockey and this started my love for the penguins from way back in 1992, classic game

And another east way is if u have a skater on top with the puck and one on the bottom when u get close to the goalie pass down to the other player and shot goal mostly all the time

If I had a Genesis, I would get this game just for the novelty of having a “Mario” game on a Sega console.
The menu music sounds like an earlier version of the music from the first level of Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
I remember that you could score a lot of goals easily if you skated right toward the goalie, then cut to a side and did a backhand shot. You could get at least 10 a game that way.

I think if you passed it straight ahead to the goalie it would always bounce of him for the easy put back goal. the fights were great too
